This RX7 is also way to high, for a newer model. I test drove a private owners Silver 1996 Touring Twin Turbo 13b which had around 460HP and red Ricaro leather. mmmmmm Had it up to around 150mph and felt like I was doing 75, it was lower than a Vette.

u cant compare engine sizes when talking about a rotary engine, you dumbass, they are made so one rotor makes the horsepower os 4 cylinders. so if you have a two rotor engine the race is fair

I've actually heard the old v6 sho's were faster than the v8's. I've never rode in a v8 sho, but I have seen my brother-in-law's old 91 hand a 5.0 stang's ass to him. maybe the dude in the 5.0 can't drive for shit, but the old v6 sho's are fast

you can't tell me they are shitty when i go out with a stock 5.0 5sp thats pretty much 16 years old and still kicks ass, i beat pontiac GTP's, i beat eclipse's i beat the new mazda rx-8 which is slower then the rx-7 but still good? i hang right with the z-28's i lose ground whenever i shift but right with them all the way! 302 is impressive to me. 5.0 owners should never talk down 302's! you love your mustang or not buddy?

i think it is very funny reading the comments here! cdizle8 says that the 5.0 mustang is heavy with tiny v8! yeah ok sure? just for your info small v8's are found in taurus sho's 3.4 v8 and like the tbird and lincoln ls with 3.9 v8 a 5.0 is not small it is in the middle stupid, oh i forget there soo heavy my 91 notch weighs in at 2925lbs but yeah that is soo heavy! lets race boy!

How are they shitty? i have a bone stock 91 notch 5speed that runs a 14.4 in the qaurter mile? not bad for 225hp i realize the GT's are heavier and slower maybe thats your problem? if you don't believe me then look it up on the net? 5.0 GT's run the quarter in 15 sumthin... that is slow but 5.0 is not shitty motor it made the stang what it is today? respect it! sure they love bolt-ons every motor does!

that rx7 is an ls1 swap engine. its been done thousands of times and the rx7 is way lighter than that mustang is and the 5.0 is a crappy engine anyways.

ive owned an NA fc3s and a current owner of a 5.0 that rx7 has a v-8 swap and it is usually common. a stock non turbo fc like that cant pull like that, especially on the highway. No your shit before u talk.Rotary engines have power potential especially when they are turbo'd not stock n/a

Fucking 3 rotors and shit... wish i can fit one of those in my tight ass 94 rx7.. :( and ive seen 13b with 3mm apex seals and hardened rotors (in case you don't know what hardened means, means machining the rotors so they can withstand heat in high rpm) pull off on an NSX, which is way faster than your five-oh-no...
