  • what software is this

  • It is Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9. Haven't got used to it yet as I have been using Pinnacle 9 for along time. But for just basic footage Windows Movie Maker does the job for Youtube.

  • I find this very informative as you can see the first bikes position, which enables us to see what the second bike(main screen can see and they adapt, viwed via your cam, cracking footage and a must for bikers to see if they would position same.

Again you have given a positive approach for bikers.

  • Perhaps a little slower for junctions? On a strait road I like to keep in and away from on coming cars. Just a bit too fast for me. Nice roads, looked like a cracking ride. Good video.

  • Hi Nigel. Another informative video. Excellent style of instruction. They say the Police driving/motorcycling instructor coureses are the hardest in the police to pass. Likethe split screen view. Good to see your example of riding. Looking forward to meeting you if you still wish to visit Scotland in the New Year. I will be in touch. Kind regards. Gary.

  • Gary

It will have to be a must, there are a number of Youtubers who I can meet. It will be worth doing.

    Regards

    Nigel

  • a good morning Nigel...

another interesting video from you,Riding on our side of the road Nigel ...LOL.

would be Great if you could get over to Germany and i'll show you around the Wonderful Sauerland District Mohnesee / Sorpesee...Corners made for Motorbikes up and down hills, take care out there my friend.

    Regards Glenn.

  • Glenn

If that is an invitation, I'll try and get over in 2010. I am in Normandy in April training and Northern France in June on a jolly looking at the Somme etc....But there are other dates, I will be in touch.

    Regards

    Nigel

  • Spent a few days riding in Sauerland last year. Not too bad for motorbikes and not too far away either ;)

  • How far from Calais ?

  • Sauerland is roughly 5 hours from Calais.

For me, it's roughly 2-3 hours (Autobahn)

  • very nice, what software did you use for this Nigel? seems a usefull tool, especially for this type of purpose.

    good video too.

  • I am experimenting with Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9 as I am getting fed up with Pinnacle Studio freezing. Howvever most of the clips are done with Windows Movie Maker, as I not too bothered about the upload size. I am trying to get quality from the mini dv tapes I use. Not progressed to hard drive yet.....

  • tnx Nigel, i'll take a peek at that.

  • I had a few issues, I didn't know how to split screen, I don't like reading manuals, so went onto Youtube and there was a tutorial....Great stuff

  • Like it. Nice to see your perspective and then be able to look across and see someone else's view of the same hazard, bend or whatever.
