  • Thanks! My husband is too damn lazy to fix our ceiling, so i have to do it myself. This video was great and helped a lot. MAYBE a little too many had gestures, but a great instructional video!

  • Your retarded. Who puts plaster on with a roller? 0 skill

  • you are hillarous! thanks for the tips!

  • pretty much my whole ceiling in the living room the paint is cracked and lifting everywhere not sure how to go about this?

  • WTF.

  • There are several problems with texture on a ceiling or wall. What this video shows is a failure of the bond between the gray base coat and white smooth topcoat. If you actually have cracks and you just skim coat over them without reinforcing the cracks with fiberglass tape they are likely to re-crack at some point . If the ceiling has been textured if is virtually impossible to match the original texture. With joint compound you could at least sand the whole ceiling down and start over.

  • lol you are funny and i learned something :] this kept me interested and now i can fix that crack in my ceiling :]

  • why cant you keep your instructions short and simple. The dancing as your favorite part of day and porridge is good and the sound effects are not funny at all. Just a constructive comment since you have allowed comments on your videos

  • @nidzrulz4eva thats not cool

  • thank you it was great video Great helped solve the problem I have

  • great vid. do you have any advice on bracing when access to the attic side of the roof is not available (vaulted ceiling)? I suppose Ill just have to cut enough to slide some blocks through and screen some durabond?

  • Those cracks look like water damage, from some intermittent source like drippy plumbing or a soggy roof. If they are and the water problem is still there, that texture won't stay new looking for long.

  • Negative. It was not caused but bad roof and there is no plumbing up there. But that is a good point and one must rule every option out.

    Thank you

  • @BigChopperoo I doubt it would be caused by plumbing problems but it could easily be a leaky roof.

  • do a segment on butt crack repair

  • hahaha awesome transitions

  • great vid im subbing!

  • Chad, Great vid as always. Cheers

  • that bracing idea looks good!!!!!

  • thanks for the tips, I never thought to actually go up to the attic and brace the 2x4's like that

PS: sweet dance moves, gonna have to borrow a few next time I go down town.
