    >w<

  • @LegendrySeeker That's what I like to hear - God using my videos to serve others and may He bless the work of your hands and feet. Thanks for sharing and viewing.

  • Wow! I gotta agree with gleedy! your druming is awsome ! i play on a simular kit (TD10) at church there a blast to play for sure! this video is really some great drumming looks like you only have a single kick but throw in alot of double kicks sounds like! Great Technic Bro!

  • @bondoguy Thanks, appreciate that. For this cover I wanted to put a Derek & The Dominos/Jim Gordon feel to it making it swing more, which is something I don't hear in church or today's praise/worship music. Thanks for stopping by and checking it out.

  • your parts are so dynamic on this song the part at 1.59 is beautiful and the way ya finished the song is pure magic its one of the best put together pieces of drumming i`ve ever heard....... world class drummer!!

  • @gleedy1824life Thank you for watching and for one of the most well-informed comments I ever received.

  • Hello! I'm looking into getting an electric set to cover some songs similar to this(worship ones that we play at church). I was wondering how you get your drum sounds to cover the drums in the original track? Is there software or do you just have to record yourself playing it then add it to the track and turn your drums way up? Sorry if this is a lame question, wanna get a good start. Thank you!

  • @JesusDrummin13 For this song I'm playing along to the mp3 from the iPod going into the Roland V-Drum brain. The output went direct to the camera's hard drive. Just make sure that your drums are mixed loud enough to cover the recording's drum tracks but not too loud to cover up the rest of the song. For more details see my channel page & scroll down the "About Me:" section you'll find what your asking as well as the hardware & software I use.

  • @JesusDrummin13 Feel free to ask me any more questions you may have. I like to share and help other drummers, especially those in God's church.

  • @rhythmantic Sounds like a big confusing mess haha! I want to plug in my ipod, hit record on the video camera and play. Then add the recording of me playing to the sound I also recorded, then add that to the original song. Anyway to do it that simply?

    Thanks for your insight.

  • @JesusDrummin13 All I can share with you is the methods I use as outlined on my channel. The method I outlined to you earlier is so simple it can't be reduced any further, the way you want to do it is far more complex and involves extra steps because you're going to have to sync your audio with your video and that's very time consuming.

  • great my man

  • @ncboy65 Thanks so much for checking it out.

  • good one, just perfect

  • @darceron thanks

  • how much does an electric drumkit like tht set you back??

  • @xPlatinumKillerX $3.5 - 5k USD

  • @TheCheepers Thanks.

  • Addictive drumming ..fab Sal!

  • @sbbinahee Thanks so much. I'll get back to you about the collab.

  • So good groove !!!

  • @katsuoda001 Thank you.

  • This cover is class it really shows off your skills well impressive

  • @gleedy1824life Cool man, glad you dig it. I appreciate your comment.

  • Great! I like it!!

  • @timdrumz Thanks

  • That is tight!!!!!

  • @thislisa Thanks so much. I dig Lincoln's songs, he's played concerts at our church. I have a few more of his songs to cover, God willing that is!

  • @rhythmantic I look forward to the vids!

  • What great talent. I play at my church but I haven't been able to introduce this style music yet. Keep it up.

  • @nc4wd Thank you. At the church the music we play is all styles, some services it could be all acoustic w/strings, others electric such as this song. God bless you and keep playing.

  • Nice Job! Been playing longer than you are old but always looking for different perspectives on all the praise songs we do. So taking notes on the music after watching this 5 times. Excellent cover and let me echo what's been said already. I love the way the drums are programmed.

  • @promark59 Wow, you are very kind and I appreciate the encouragement. I'm very happy with the sound of the drums on this, the toms could be a little better, & also the mix between the song & my drum track came out well-I don't always get it right. . The setting used was from VExpressions. BTW: If the info on your channel is correct, I'm older than you by a decade.

  • @rhythmantic Yes I see the salt & pepper now. Well, that explains your smoothnessaround the kit. No wasted energy like I remember back in my twenties. You're right my age is right though will turn 51 getting a bone marrow transplant next month in Nashville. I'm still gutting it out playing 2 services on Sundays, my last one will be next week. Long road ahead but will be bring my sticks and pad to stay loose. What church do you play at? I do seem to travel a lot these days.

  • @promark59 Hope your transplant goes well. Yea, keep loose and thanks, it's a blessing meeting other drummers like yourself, that's what I dig about YT. I play Central Peninsula Church in Northern CA.

  • @bziswin111 Yes, it's one of the better settings. As good as VDrums are I prefer to trigger real drum samples most of the times. Thanks for your encouraging comment.

  • what drumsticks do you use in this cover?

  • @greyfriarbobby Those are Vic Firth 5A with a wrap. Because of my loose grip I drop sticks a lot and so the wrap helps me to hang on better. On other sticks I will sometimes use a spray (Groove Juice - Stick Grip) or a wax.

  • thanks for the cover bro.. you did the drums well..hope if i could request some cover of you..hehehe. i like the way you drums..keep up the good work your labor is not in vain in the Lord!

  • @antz2107 thanks, glad that you like it. yes, you can request. yes, may the Lord use these videos for His kingdom work. peace.

  • They play this song in my church and my whole church goes crazy awesome job dude very inspiring (<-- i think i spelled this wrong) lol

  • @88bradshaw Thanks for your encouraging word & glad you like it. Lincoln has done 2 concerts here (CPC Live), fabulous. God bless.

  • Dude seriously, been playing this song all week, I really dig what you did with it. Makes it so much more alive.

  • @guitardds I'm very grateful that you like what I played. I love the song for its groove & lyrics that praise God. I pray that this song ministers to you because He is a great God and all things are possible through Him. thank you so much for your encouraging words.

  • You should do All to You by Lincoln Brewster. The pre-chorus has a similar beat to this song's chorus. Nice cover.

  • @CanadaRoksEh Yes, it's on the list. I play this tune in church. thanks for your comment.

  • Awesome bro!

  • @guitardds Thank you, you're very kind.

  • Great performance and what a nice sound.

  • @bbuteo thanks so much.

  • nice video!! Just subscribed to you. Check out a song/video i edited Using Wavepad. heres the name of it...... Brian Tarquin - One Arabian Night (Edited). Hope you like it.

  • @ontariodestoyer41 Thanks for listening & subscribing. I did check out your version of One Arabian Night - lovely tune. Yes, I did like it. Thanks for sharing. I hope to cover that tune someday.

  • GREAT RENDITION! I sang this song in my Youth Choir and it is one amazing song! :) Great job! You're almost my idol! haha

  • @dabelgianfish Thanks for your kind words. Keep playing & singing.

  • Great. But just not real close to the actual part

  • @pbarnett76001 It's not supposed to be, it's better than the original part. It was meant to illustrate an example of playing that type song with a more sophisticated groove/swing.

  • u rock man amen

  • @BigEvilLadia23 thanks for listening and commenting.

  • Sounds awesome dude! Definitely grooves way better than so much of the 4-on-the-floor you hear non-stop in contemporary worship music, especially live in church. Looking forward to more stuff from you! Keep drumming for God!

  • @jesusFreak0321 thanks for listening and for your encouraging words.

  • Lincoln Brewster will be in concert at CPC in Foster City CA on April 16th. Looking forward to it.

  • Amazing.

  • your totally amazing, how i wish i could be as good drummer as you.

  • sure you can bonbon, playing drums well is not so special, if it was there wouldn't be so many good drummers on UTube.

  • Nice bridge drum part!!!
