@havenomouth They preach about different things and do 2 different genres. Tech uses a much more direct way of speaking in his lyrics, he's more of a "direct contact" man I'd say. Otep keeps a more poetic approach to their lyrics also. =)

What I mean is that they write in totaly different ways and got seperated angles on it. Sure, they could do a colab, but it wouldent do either of them justice. In my honest opinion.

Slipknot was fueled literally by Corey's demons which he put out in the open which allowed people to relate more and respect.
