  • this sounds very nice in Petra

  • Very gay description

  • @NeuronTree

    haha,

more like, our guide, between selling rock thought he'd take us to a tourst trap and play his cheap-ass flute he got off e-bay.... Loool jk ;)

  • Lithe, graceful, and taciturn.

  • best

  • Fantastico!!!

  • yoo i swear i saw this guy playing at petra this summer

  • Hi every one in petra what Shadi (the boys name) is playing is called a "Shababah"

  • Haunted melody. Beautiful.

  • i fell in love with the bedouins when in/around petra. they are such a cool bunch..... music, dance, hospitality, desert, caves, camels, horses.... i would like to live there perhaps forever and everrr hehehe

  • that's not a ney, it's a Kaval, they aren't the same. Music from a Ney is much more beatufil.

  • OMG he's our guider when we went to the school and he did that same song and what a kind Bedouin . Plz vote for petra n7w(dot)com plz valid till 6/7/07

  • FYI, his name is Shadi and he's just about the sweetest human being I've ever met.

  • it's a ney, and it's hard to play...in my experience at least. you have to angle the instrument just right to produce a sound, and it was traditionally played by bedouin shepherds... which makes sense for this guy.

  • a metal nay/ney

  • what the heck is he playing

  • he's kinda hot
