i fell in love with the bedouins when in/around petra. they are such a cool bunch..... music, dance, hospitality, desert, caves, camels, horses.... i would like to live there perhaps forever and everrr hehehe

that's not a ney, it's a Kaval, they aren't the same. Music from a Ney is much more beatufil.

it's a ney, and it's hard to play...in my experience at least. you have to angle the instrument just right to produce a sound, and it was traditionally played by bedouin shepherds... which makes sense for this guy.
