Mr Excel & excelisfun Trick 38: Weekly Report Formula or Pivot Table?

Thanks for the video, but how can you get a weekly percentage increase of sales from that data? Or monthly... say if you only needed to use Monday and friday values not the middle days to calculate the percentage.. or first of the month to last day of month without including middle dates.
