  • One of my favorite songs when growing up. This is awesome, thanks!

  • This song was in my head for like five years. Had no Idea what it was called or any of the main words. Thought it was nu shooz. Today it is OVER all due to luck and a unique album cover I remember from childhood. Thank God I know

  • I first heard this listening to Jim Bohannon before law school during undergrad poli sci. I picked him from a list of shows you would have to report on while going to Gonzaga University. Since then, Ive turned into a complete dick. Stopped skating, stopped smoking bud, stopped everything. But this song always brings me back to my mini ramp. My hot pregnant young wife. And the only reason it can is because back when I actually lived, at minute 3:10 it sounds like "Bohannon" and he used it.

  • Just right for any occasion......long live the FUNK!!!!!

    1 question though..

What or who the fuck is a bohannon?!

  • @superbuds0714 Hamilton Bohannon (born Hamilton Frederick Bohannon, March 7, 1942, Newnan, Georgia) is an American percussionist, band leader and record producer, who was one of the leading figures in 1970s disco music.[1] After 1980 he was usually credited simply as Bohannon. (I FOUND THIS VIA WIKIPEDIA)

  • @superbuds0714 Hamilton Bohannon, Jamaican singer/R-B, Raggae

  • JAMES BROOOOOOWN?! JAMES BROOOOOWN.

    Talking Heads.. so fun..

  • this is when music was at its best. Who can remember what band the members of the tom tom club are from? Hit the lead singer of the group had a BIG thing for huge suits

  • @TheOldschoolfox Pretty easy question. They were members of the Talking Heads

  • @TheOldschoolfox Pretty easy question. They were members of the Talking Heads

  • @TheOldschoolfox that 's easy. the tom Tom club was a spinoff fron the Talking Heads. Chris Frantz the drummer and Tina Weymouth the bass player did a project and were astute enough to recruit the likes of Sly and Robbie (reggae geniuses) to pull of one of the most innovative, absolutely brilliant, not to be duplicated musical projects in the history of modern music.

  • Does anyone know the language spoken at 3:00? It sounds like a mix of Korean and Swedish. o_O

  • @lilacs91 I think it might just be gibberish. The line before mentions them going insane when they took cocaine, so that's what I'm guessing it is.
