  • hey how much did it cost to have that set!?!??!

  • @tarek1982 I think $150 most of the stuff was bought at REI in U.S

  • your kit is my favorite i have seen this is my favorite video

  • @BigPapa070197 Thanks ;)

  • i like how it all goes in that bag wear did you get the bag from?

  • + A + video...very compact BOB...(bug out bag) thanks

  • i would add pa+ to the purification tablets it gets rid of the iodine taste

  • wie teuer ?

  • @EnkushStrife1996 es ist nicht so teuer

  • @maurigian1 und von wo hast du die AMAZON ??

gerade habe ich ein survival set bestellt aber richtig klein.aber das was du hst ist cool

  • Something to be careful about: The space blankets only reflect about 98% of your body's RADIANT heat... This is the smallest amount of heat your body loses. Much more heat is lost thru conduction (touch) and convection (air movement). Solar blankets can block some of the heat lost to convection and radiation, but they are no substitute for INSULATION... which is the only thing that can prevent conduction heat loss. You need to plan on bringing warm clothing and insulation from the cold ground.

  • @PKM9x19 Good info...what do you think about those AMK thermal bivys the thicker ones? They came out with a new updated one for 2012 that wont collect condensation, I know the older one worked fine for the mid 30s not sure how they would perform at lower temperatures though.

  • @maurigian1 I actually have one of their older ones and I like it. I carry it with me when I go hunting and have a good chance of sleeping away from camp. Its more durable, a good moisture blocker and it does reflect some warmth. I still bring a foam pad for ground insulation and extra clothing or my lightweight down bag... With that setup I have slept pretty good in freezing temperatures. I wouldnt want to brave a freezing night with only the bivy though.

  • Nice Kit! I loved the comment about the first aid kit having only "garbage" in it... I completely agree... Over the years I've just accepted the fact that when I am shopping for a new first aid kit I am only looking at the container it comes in... I end up tossing everything it comes with too

  • @PKM9x19 Exactly... even adventure medical kits the most decent FA kit maker has been using "cooler" looking cases but they been downgrading the components to cheaper sub standard junk on many of their cheaper kits.

  • yeah I like this kit too the flask is a stylish addition and I think the humility of adding some instructions in the kit is sensible, I used to put a copy of some of the pages from the pocket sas survival guide in mine. It looks like you spent alot of time sourcing the bits and pieces, i also like to carry a water filter in my kit.but my bag is a little bigger cos I'm one those carry too much gear nuts.

  • work on the accent. this is america

  • @DualsMeatChevy94 Actually no this is Germany where im currently at, and where im also from. I spend about 1/3 of the year in California, and people seem to understand me and my "horrible" accent perfectly fine....whats next from you? Everyone drive Chevrolet trucks because this is America? You might want to work on your personal issues, Its the United States of America not the United States of Dictator-Me...Thanks ;)

  • @DualsMeatChevy94 No this is not.. youtube is part of the WORLDWIDE web not the US ONLY web doofus.

  • I would suggest if you have an old drivers license or id card something of that size you can wrap duct tape around it and then i would also try and add some 550 para cord, nice kit.

  • where did u buy that fenix ld05 i love lights and i really want that light and i can not find it any ware

  • @semperfi103109 I bough mine at Frys electronics, but they dont carry it anymore...u can buy it from knifecenter they seem to have it in stock

  • nice kit. i might suggest maybe one of those small toothpaste tubes and a travel fold up toothbrush. and maybe a stick of chapstick or carmex. thats a few things i put in mine.

  • great kit

  • nice kit, Good to see the victronox combo knife, I really think they are under-rated now adays....

  • LOL, diarrhea is a must in all my pack.

  • Very nice kit man, but I suggest a range weapon, fuck guns and stuff, that is suicidal, too loud, I would suggest a small harpoon, I don't mean those crossbow type harpoons, I mean throwing knifes with a string strapped on the end, this is useful too since you can hunt while in cover, imagine a healthy cat on a car, around are zombies, throw the knife on the cat and pull the string to your hole, and there you have your dinner.

  • Nice video, I copy you the idea of the survival instruccions

  • you sound like toby. from The Office xD

    great vid and kit btw

  • @maurigian1 Nice bag.And also where you buy the sleeping bag? -Warboy2010

  • I'd recommend putting the glue in a small sealed bag in case of leaks but aside from that this is a great little it.

  • watch mine

  • What was the model of the fenix penlight torch, pretty cool and by the specs you gave very useful. Thanks 5/5^

  • very good servival kit!!!

  • Constructive and helpful. Beats the heck out of some lame and fruitless prank video.

  • Survivalson266

  • Wow

  • if that is the only water u have left then make sure u dont eat that cliff bar

  • Ты русский что ли?

  • I work for REI and this is a great bag. You can most of this at REI. I have to say this the best bag I have seen, small and light weight. Has it all. Great job! Put a list up for others to print out and copy.

  • cayenne popper will stop bleeding too and it does not burn i done it twice already

  • It looks like you have roonm for a fixed blade knife like a Frosts Mora. Whatever you feel is most important you should have at least two more of in different locations on your person or in your pack. So that is you forget to bring one or lose one you have a back up. Other than that looks like a well thought out kit,

  • Vid*

  • Not a bad bid man. I recommend getting smaller band aids. What if you cut the piss outta your finger. Your gonna use up and entire big band aid for one finger?

  • add a commando wire saw then you can cut wood for a fire and to help build a shelter. They are quite small and very light

  • Well done, compact kit man! Thanks for the video, excellent job.

  • Great Kit! I have a question how do you carry it on you out in the field?

  • nice kit !

  • one of the best survival kits I've seen on Youtube !!!! Very nice for the car or grab on the go. A small bottle of chicken bouillon or a small can of Crisco added would go a long way, as a fat substitute. The Crisco can help in starting a fire as well.

    Very nice job my friend.

  • @jdinn101327 Don't forget you can never have to much cord or rope Para cord is very compact and strong.

  • @jdinn101327 ..I agree..learn how to make a survival bracelet with the para cord (It will compact alot of cordage if braided into a wrist band or tie on to your bag) . It will be easier to carry around wrist, easy to access. Or tie to outside of bag. Great Vid. Well done, you put alot of thought into this. :))

  • cool. i like how the bivy fits into the mug.

  • That's a very well thought out kit. NIce job.

  • what is the name of the bag?

  • I love it, so simple and affective. I am planning on re creating this kit but adding a few changes. I also thank you for getting me into survival back in the day with this video.

  • that would be a decent kit to have stashed somewhere only you know, in case you somehow got parted from your bob aka bury it in a spot you can remember and come back to ect or something to that effect. or just for keeping in the car for that matter. great kit though I am sure you have build on it since posting :p

  • Very cool survival kit, i think you think in everything must people dont pack food but the energy bar its a great idea, i can only think in change 2 things in your kit the matches for a butane lighter, and the victorinox for a leatherman, I´m fan of victorinox but in a survival situation a prefer a leatherman

  • Check out my account im getting into this kind of stuff too!

  • i clicked on the video because i saw the clif bar in the thumbnail XD

  • a gud well thought out kit but wud recomend a bigger more specialized knife like a mora and sharpening stone everyone seems 2 forget those.

    gud vid pal

  • amazing kit i will say that to the end may i just say you should add a fixed blade knife nothing big and fancy just something sharp and sturdy many many uses a swedish more would be a great addition but once again great video

  • gr8 job. nice kit i love the north face bag too......very good kit thx karen

  • Very smart choices all around. I agree making your own survival and medical kits is better than using a premade one. Too many cheap items in those. I think you could swap a collapsible water bottle for the flask. Add a Photon light to the outside. A tiny pocket knife for backup, or swap in a small multi-tool for the Victorinox. Maybe small scissors in the med kit. And good quality tweezers and a mini magnifying glass.

Amazing you got so much great stuff in that tiny space. I think I will copy U.

  • igreat kit please make more videos, but idk how many matches ae in that one little plasticcontainer... im guessing about 100 which might not be enough, I suggest having just a pack of emergency strike anywhere matches or some aluminum foil for signaling and purifing water, but other than that it's a very good kit.

  • This is an effective kit. That said, I strongly feel that a Bedazzler and a 6'er of Tahiti Treat be included in a well planned survival kit.

  • Pritty good kit! Go camping with it and see where things can be added or left behind!

  • @Aweber87 I agree..I want to see this kit in action !! LOL :)) I see so many ppl , with good items in there packs. but when put to the test..it isn't the items that fail the survival..it is the persons, bush maturity and lack of experience ...that gets to them ..lol:)

  • I'd recommend something less tasty for your "food" in your kit - if you do have that kit around all the time, you're going to be tempted to eat it in the off chance you are hungry, and not have it when you do need it. Perhaps some of those rock hard power bars maybe? Also, for about the same size you could probably fit a larger collapsible water container instead of that flask - you already have something to cook/purify water in. Great kit! Very well thought out!

  • I really like your kit you can use it in every day carry also if u put it into a backpack good job taken some ideas fr your kit thanks for posting

  • it's so complete i love it

but it's to bid it won't fit in your

jeans pocket you should try like a soap

    container

  • A great kit but suggest you also put a tampon in there too. It can be used as tinder when torn apart and also as a wound dressing

  • @mrsogre22 AHAH

Yeah totally, instead of just using cotton wads were going to go out of our way to buy tampons, thats one of the most hilarious comments ive ever seen on a B.o.B video

"Oh wait! i forgot my tampons, my bail out bag is incomplete oh no!"

  • i love you kit

  • good, but only with this you could only survive about a day because the lack of food and water.

  • One of the best on YouTube

  • you forgot the condoms that s important too

  • water shoo I will put wiskey in it

  • ALSO very good kit, one of the best I've seen.

  • FINALLY someone had the same idea to use a flask. I do recomend getting a bigger water container, such as a Collapsive water bag as @pardinijr had suggested, but a flask is a great back up container.

  • Very good survival kit !! I would only replace that water flask for a collapsive water bag, and maybe add a small hand crank flashlight...

  • Best kit I have seen on youtube yet...! screw altoids tin kits.

I suggest for you to considder a stainless steel wide mouth kleen kanteen bottle instead of the mug and flask, they are excellent. and maybe a small sewing kit.

    Good job, good video !

  • @klj2503

The kits in mint tins can be carried around in a pocket, this isn't a "carry everywhere" kit like those....

  • @Rofocowboy84 My point was only, people tend to put way too much credit in to the capabillity of micro survival kits, and they stack em full of things that, at best are lousy, tinfoil for boiling water, only one lousy compass, ect ect. Imo I would rather go for a decent knife of a propper size, a 1 liter stainless water container, a fire steel, a quallity compass and a waterproof poncho and then let that be it - Nothing beats good quallity gear, you got it in your kit - and thats why i like it

  • Where did you get the quick clot powder stuff???

  • @baashollywood64 Its called WoundSeal by QR you can buy it at some outdoor stores or online more easily

  • I have the same bag but blue i keep my survival kit in it works well good vid

  • I have the same bag but blue and i keep my survival kit in it it works so well good vid

  • Very comprehensive kit. Great job!

  • well done

  • It's a good kit, but where is the knife? I know you have a Swiss army knife, but you may want a little bigger of one than that. And you might also want a bigger water bottle. Other than that, it is a very good kit.

  • Awesome kit

  • Make some more vids man

  • Excellent Pouch mate... some stuff looks expensive though.

  • i used to keep tea light candles too but if you plan on leaving the pack in your car or anywhere very warm they will melt all over your stuff...

  • That's really good.

  • That is a great begining After Andrew1992 i had over $6,000 worth of survival gear for a eight people for one week two large tents /120 gal of water But Andrew was Six months long in my home town Yes your bag is nice for one person for a few days But Friends Family the people that is always around you Will you have an extra bag (s) for your friends that laugh at you for being a doomday Fool

  • What the name of the quick clot like chemical in the small bottle?

  • TTTOOOEE WARRRMEERRS

  • Very impressive, only suggestion would be to add some paracord and a p38 can opener. to save space on the paracord, make or buy one of the bracelets that hold around 9-10 feet:)

  • WOW! A TITANIAUM SPORK! That's a first.

  • GREAT kit! All that you missed out on was paracord. Probably the best I've seen. And I've seen a lot.

  • probably one of the best survival kits ive seen on youtube

  • @somerandomguy7711:

    Indeed.

  • how much did the north face bag cost ?

  • @noahhenderson6 It was like $26

  • lol a ....rape wistle lol nah im kidding

  • were did u get the bag

  • Nice kit!

  • @nerdiq All of the items can be purchased at an REI store ...thats where i get my stuff from since they have a store like 10 minutes away from my house lol

  • Comment removed

  • you need some cord.

  • Does swallowing charcoal help with the shits?

  • @VeronicasMidget Yea it does.....many indigenous peoples have used it for centuries to neutralize their system.....that according to Bear Grylls LOL

  • @maurigian1 Ah! I thought as much. Very nice kit . Keep it real friend :)

  • @maurigian1 Hahahahaha! Great vid by the way!

  • @VeronicasMidget Yer rite!! I take some charcoal , mixed with some pemmican, and chew and swallow that up. Fixes my stomach complaints..and cleans out my dig system of unwanted chemicals and possible poisons, before they get to be part of my body. It works great at evicting the Diarrhea invader., out of my system..If it ain't paying rent..get the heck out..LOL. I like to make my own , and put it in my walk about pack..cheers.

  • nice kit.. you sold the bag to me, im buying it now for a survival kit haha!

  • Nice kit, but where's the shelter you mentioned? You must be already in it. : )

  • good kit only thing i would recomend is to get a knife

  • good kit.

  • Nice kit! Just one question: Have you considered the possibility that your kit gets wet? A good kit also survives a short swim. Give all your stuff a plastic bag!

  • I personaly would have brought more than 1zip tie but hey that's just me overall good vid. What was the name of the bag?

  • great bag good vid!!!!!

  • man! now that sure is some rich guy's survival stuff!

  • @MayanaPeak875 Rich guys survival stuff? Thats funny, Im not rich just another honest hard working guy here.

  • @maurigian1 You don't have to be rich to care about your gear. Pretty good kit. The one change I would make would be to include some duct tape and trade your flask for a wide mouth nalgeen bottle. It wouldn't take up any extra room because you could fit most of your kit down into it and then put it in your bag. You have your cup for boiling and cooking so you really just need a bigger watter container...

  • @taylorcm76 YES !! to DUCT TAPE...lol

  • One of the most sensible kits I have seen for people living in Europe. Most people die of exposure in the wilderness not hunger or thirst so the fact that you have one of those good quality emergency Bivvy shows you are really thinking and not pretending you are Rambo. My only suggestion to you is to add some paracord so that you can convert your poncho into a Basha or rig up some other kind of cover.

  • maurigian1 Theres somethiing very important you forgot and thats "prolyte Powder" you can buy a small pack for 1 dollar each. What you do is mix it in your water bottle and it hydrates you 10x more than regular water, its made for people who suffer dehydration. Try it once, its an over the counter sold item. you will save your water for many more days

  • great kit! where did you get the quick clot?

  • @CAsurvivalist there are several types on ebay, styptic pencils and liquid form as well

  • Survival Kit is great where did you get the med kit???

  • @nikolov5817 It's by adventure medical kits, and I got it at REI they only cost like $7 but I pretty much threw the crap that came with it and added my own stuff.

  • The flask is a good container to get water into in a situation you might want to add some water packets if you can to have water at the start then get water in your flask

  • i like your mini survival kit....i always carry one for myself everytime i go out

with mini saw(wire type) swiss army knife,a tiny dagger,band-aids/bandages,alcohol,panty liners, sanitary napkins....thanks for reminding me to add a flask and a lil food .

  • A very good survival kit by the way for the size. (:

  • You might want to get a better flashlight for your survival pack. Maybe a flashlight that can have longer run time (maybe 71 hours or more). (: Just a little suggestion my friend.

  • Real nice vid like it a lot

  • I want one of those. You should sell them :)

  • Really well done video. Nice inspirations. I have a survival kit. It surprises me, how different the inside of these kits of two different people can be!!! One might think, that a lot of the stuff inside must be equal, but my kit differs very much from yours ;-)

  • awesome kit dude its the best smaller one iv seen yet

  • I love all of this kit *__* It´s amazing what is in this small bag :O

    lg gabriel

  • i think you should also have a sheif knife but other wise briliant and were ae you fromin the world?

  • @SurvivalQUEEN Hi.... Im from Germany, but I currently live in California USA due to my job

  • Nice video, but you sure went far enough spamming the MSR stove videos with the same comment over and over again. You seem to have a real fondness for the Optimus Nova - you know, the same Optimus Nova that's currently subject to an international recall. Funny you should talk about the MSR pump breaking - looks like the Optimus leaks fuel all over.

  • @ddoleiden My Optimus Nova works flawless, and never leaks fuel as long as you flip the fuel bottle as instructed to shut it off, which is as easy as ..like I said flipping the fuel bottle. You see not all Optimus novas are under a recall, only the ones made in CHINA (not sweden like original) from 2009 up and have a black housing.

  • @maurigian1 Your Optimus Nova does not leak, and my MSR stove does not break despite having plastic components. I agree that the newer MSR pumps are worse than the old ones, but then so are the newer Optimus Novas being made by "dumb mongols" as you called them. Who is really dumb here - the mongols or Optimus itself, and any other company that has products shoddily crafted overseas to maximize profits (including MSR)?

  • where did you get the north face pouch from

  • @Richard21406 I got it from REI

  • cool

  • Great video man, this is one of the better survival kits on youtube. Nice gear as well. You are right, always try to get the best equipment that you can afford, and upgrade when you can.

  • i think i am 2,999 viewer or 3,000 not too sure but its awesome and a suggestion is a big ass rambo knife :P

  • Comment removed

  • @lupevelez2 You can get them at virtually any big store or outdoors stores like REI, Target etc

  • Comment removed

  • @lupevelez2 you can get them at any pharmasave or shoppers drug mart or grocery store

  • Good vid I would add a good knife or maybe a folding saw.were do u get cliff bars they sound good

  • I want this light too :) and this small drink bottle :)

    lg gabriel from germany

  • @SurvivalOberschwaben If I was back in Germany and in the same town as you, I would be more than happy to give them to you!

  • @maurigian1 do you know the town where I live?

  • @SurvivalOberschwaben No what part of Germany are you from?

  • @maurigian1 south in the near of the lake of constans perhaps 60km away :)

  • switch the flask out with a big zip lock bag

  • @popo8231 I took it from a North-brand first aid kit i had sitting around in my closet, I never really seen compressed gauze rolls sold individually at stores so the only way to get them is at the American CVS pharmacy chain.
