What kind of settings are you playing with? It doesn't look like its in simulation mode.

@TheSpongebobExpress the GTR has a double gearbox system that already has the corresponding gear ready for a gear shift. So basically it shifts extremely fast.

what i dont get is i got gold 1st time for all s races except this one where i cant get past 12th place

i didnt have patience with this race as well as S7 i kept restarting too early and not giving myself some time to advance position, but then i kept going and was eventually able to get first place with the Amuse S2000 on both races.

I got gold in this race using the Lotus Elise 110 tuned.

well this is from gran turismo 5 prologue, which has been out for a while, and you can probably pick it up used on ebay. it's no gt5, but a good demo.. good 40 dollar demo
