can you show what the gel looks like when it is cooled down or refrigerated...i would like to see the overall outcome---i made some but i have to get a blender! but im still workin on it because i used a lot more honey and gum
hi. Thanks for vid. I wanted to know does it make your curls pop.does it make your curls defined. The second question I had is do you need to apply an moisturizer to your hair before you apply the gel, or is the gel enough moisture for the hair. Thank you and please comment back, me as well as probably every one who watched the video would like to know!!!
Assuming you're in Memphis (based on the 901 number at the end of some of your videos--I could be wrong), where is the African market?? I've been looking for one to buy my shea butter and black soap from...unless you're referring to Africa in April...would you mind PMing me the details?
@Kinkycurlyhair When I apply it, it reminds me of activator gel, so I just recently mixed it will my Hawaiian silky so I can make sure I use the products....
I make flaxseed gel all the time and never had any flakes...I add glycerin and honey to it as well as aloe and oils..so maybe that's why not flakes. I love flax gel cuz the shine is incredible and it really lasts a long time.
@Resurrectionpower247 For dry hair, try to use the curly girl method, to get the softness back to your hair. For the dry scalp, try to mix up a few carrier oils of your choice, put it in an applicator bottle and apply to your scalp and hair daily. Also try to mist your hair with water, while you have the oils in to help with moisture :)
@KaturahYahudah Yeah the things that you added in may be the reason why it doesn't flake, cause when I watched other people's videos, they would mention flakes. I may have to try it one day to see how it works on my hair :)
@OneUniqueTrulady ..I have tried both the guar gum and the flax seed gel...and my fav is the "flaxseed"...it is a pain at times to strain but it is well worth the lil bit of trouble when you make a large portion of it and put it in your refrigerator.
@VictoriousLat I was thinking the same thing LOL! I did a wash and go yesterday, and it turned out really nice :) I will have a video on how it looks with a wash and go soon.
@BoHoLioness Okay I will definitely do that. I like it so far, it gives you a nice soft hold with no flakes. I'm on my 5day hair today :) Pushing for 6 because tomorrow is my wash day.
@SimplYounique Okay girlie! I did a tutorial Monday using the gel to do finger coils and I did a coil out Tuesday. I achieve 5day hair so far :) I will have the video up, hopefully tomorrow so I can take a picture of the 6day hair.
