if you want to play guitar- you better get it through your head that bad strings & poorly constructed guitars are THE starting point- Esteban's stuff is well thought out- fine quality beginner's instruments made affordable, but with the perils of chinese making- little things may be wrong & need adjusted or replaced- but i guarrantee if you learn to do that on your own, you'll benefit in the long run & will appreciate a very high dollar classic fully...jam along with any other midranged classic

My cousin bought the $99 Esteban guitar and let me tell you, you get what you pay for lol The strings snapped within what, a week and then when I put new ones of them on for him, they snapped in another week. I play guitar and know what I'm doing and he wasn't doing anything wrong. Plus the sound was not nearly as good as he was making it out to be. I have seen better First Act guitars than that.

What's the chord at :25 and :26 ? What i'm playing doesn't sound right

@uplaterthanishouldbe I do believe the progression goes from D to E, but the name of the full chords beats me. I´m not really into theory a lot, and I did not learn to play this song, But I do believe the chords come from the one´s mencioned If I´m not mistaken, wich I might, lol. So sorry I can´t be of more (or any) help :)

at :25 the chord is a D major on the 5th fret. Only 1,2,3 and 4th strings are played but the 4th string if left open for a bass D sound. :26 is an E minor-7 on the seven fret.

Chord at :25 is a standard D major in 5th position, followed by an Em7 in 7th position at :26.

Honestly people who play like this are the best kind of players.

People who play fast or are known for a few little nice arpeggious are not good.

If you can play in this manner then to me you arer better than most modern players out their who substitute style & melody with, speed and riffs.

Thanks for the upload, dam this is surprisingly easy to play, just some basic chords and lots of open strings, its great how esteban can make a novice player or even a beginner sound like a pro by just implementing a little style. Great teacher and all around great guy.

most acoustics at the price range i listed are pretty decent. different neck radius' are made for different purposes. just go to a few shops and pick some up see how they feel to you and your hand size. keep in mind playing gets easier as time goes on. in the beginning you will probably press pretty hard later on you will see that pressing so hard isn't necessary. Takemine and Ibanez make some nice sounding guitars. the Takemine i like sell between 450-700.

I don't know if this helps you since its been a month since you posted your comment, but Fender is by no means a good budget brand. Expensive Fenders are pretty good, but Squire by Fender is one of the worst brands ever. Low price fenders are a rip off, you're just paying for the name. For a budget guitar, go used. Rogue make some o.k. low price acoustics, but it's best to get a decent condition used guitar because it's gonna get a couple scratches anyways and its better to have a good one.

My pal has a black Esteban guitar I would rate 3 of 10, at best. It has a fake inlay DECAL around the sound hole. Should we be surprised? It's sold by a poser named Steve from Pittsburgh. The lack of finish around the frets was hurting my friend's hand, so I took his git home to see why. The frets were awful! I pressed his frets into the slots (the way the factory should have in the first place) and filed & sanded them down. Voila! No more pain. Should never have been needed.

Esteban rocks! I have that guitar he is playing on....it cost me 170.00 on HSN....it is great......it also came with DVD's, the amp and the guitar case plus lots of other stuff.....This video is right off of his lessons.
