Yeah... THIS was a real game!!! It was a true RPG!!! I mean, it had everything! Games like this just aren't made that often anymore..... I'm glad I still own it!
(The remake was pretty good, but it was on the short side.... They left quite a bit out, when they could have easily made it longer.... Disappointing in that part....)
True, it would be wonderful to see it in nonsprite form as long as they STAY TRUE TO THE ORIGIONAL STORYLINE, it saddens me when the remakes are compleately diffrent in all but name.
This game is actually being remade. It's for the DS. It has cool 3d graphics and it's an action RPG now. The characters' looks have changed too. It's coming out Feb 2010 in Japan and it has only been announced Dec 2009.:P I never played the original but I'm excited about the remake. I wonder if this will be an RPG to put FFX in its place. (Now that's an RPG)

Yes it does. Lufia II is unquestionably my favorite game of all time. It's got the best music, the best overal gameplay, and the best storyline i've ever played. ;-)
Gotta love the new "remake".
Its staying alot closer to the "real" story/design.

You should play this game. My favourite RPG of all time. Don't bother with the first game, just play Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals.
