Hillary Clinton backs Cap & Trade, and in fact stated her support in her Presidential campaign!
Clinton raised taxes and balanced the budget Regan lowered taxes and the deficit almost tripled bright eyes. Not to mention Regan's assault on Unions . Clinton on the other hand was an advocate of free trade like Regan which provided a bonanza to WalMarrt as all the Chineese goods became available at the loss of US jobs.

They promised a Government option to get elected. Then they go behind closed doors with the private insurance companies. @hobo59 you are so wrong, it's laughable. when the actual elements of the bill are explained to people, they favor almost every one: no denying for pre-existing conditions, no canceling for getting sick, help for seniors paying for drugs, children allowed to stay on parents plan longer. which of those do you want to take away from people. in polls, the number opposed has always included a sizeable number who wanted something MORE, like public option or single payer.

Seperation of church and state is used in a letter Thomas Jefferson wrote explaining what the 1st Amendment was for. The words aren't there in the Constitution explicitly, but the idea is clear to any person studying it without the tightest of tight-assed literalism.

Jefferson put that in a letter explaning that the Courts would never tell anyone they were limited (such as in schools) to express their religion. That is what the Courts are doing now.
And so you know Jefferson didn't write or vote on the Constitution. He was the Ambassador to France at the time.

If you look at what organizations give money to what party, you will see that most cover their bets and pay each of them.
