@dbreen1012: haha, check out the frustration :') Look, this guy in the vid is completely right, and yes, this method works for all scrampbled cubes. All you have to do is moving the edges (NOT the corners) to the white plane. In most cases, you just have to flip it once or twice, because it is already in the right alignment with the white plane. So, when it's not aligned, you have to "mix up the cube a little bit", just as he does from 3:00. Don't get frustrated, keep practicing.
I have a problem doing the cross. Every tutorial expects you to end up with each colour connecting through the top and middle of each side, from the cross points (ie. the white/red edge leading to a red middle square). But it's never like that once I've made a cross. The white/colour edge never leads to the same-coloured middle square.
This is the reason you should not just insert the edge somewhere, you have to insert it at it's initial location: so the red/white has to be put between the red and the white center. There's no replacing things later on, it has to be right from the start. I hope that's clear...
Honestly, I've never had it scrambled so that it's so easy to make the cross. Either you set it up so that it works for you or you just got a lucky scramble, but it all worked out way too easily for you.
It's actually proven mathematically that no matter how the cube is scrambled you can always form the cross in seven face moves or fewer. It's pretty easy with a little practice.
Man.. You are awesome... I have tried several tutorials up until yours and I've never been able to solve the mystery of the cross, and now I've got it... thanks a bunch man...
yes, it really doesn't matter what configuration you have. The colors are just examples. All you need to make sure of is that you follow the same routine, and align the colors with the colors of the center piece (since this one never changes).
Hey i watch your video and was wondering if red white and blue white and so forth were in a different configuration would your technique still work.I know zero about those cubes.
omfg can some1 put one on that show how to solve it in all the steps because ur explaning it on how ur rubics cube is colored by so i do not follow u suck

Yes the technique is color neutral though it does take a little mental adjusting to another color scheme.
