  • Where can I buy Mod Podge?

  • @tareesax3 hobby lobby

  • Do you use tights in the embroidery hoop?

  • that was so awesome! i think i can do that. :D i'm gonna guess that u make different copies of the same image and select different places to put the mod podge if u want on image to have more than one color in it. is that true?

  • I found this video over the summer and I've used it numerous times for myself and to make birthday presents. Awesome job, ThreadBanger :]

  • where do u get pizza paper at

  • does the paint stay on? like does it fade p.s. love your videos!

  • i use to work as a screen printer its fun

  • BAD BRAINS

  • can you just keep using the same one? or do you need a new one each time? silly question?

  • @TheTonywsm if you want the same logo you make yea you can reuse it but if you want a different on you have to make a new one. and no its not a silly question

  • can i use wood glue instead of mod podge?

  • Thanks!

  • Ya'll are cool!!!

  • This is wonderfully easy to do! =D Thanks for the visual of the industry, and for the simplified walk-through. ^^

  • Organza is the fabric used.

  • The easiest tutorial I've seen! Gonna do this!!

  • lol the advert is hilarious! XD

  • What kind of fabric do you put on the hoop?! And also can you use a blow dryer instead of iron? OH OH OH. And so basically it's a thin fabric that paint gets through?

  • @TheTrueSuspenderGirl I'm not sure but I think you can use your old tights (or Pantyhose, I'm english).

  • @thePRINCESSSHANDI Thanks!

  • @TheTrueSuspenderGirl lol it's okay

  • @TheTrueSuspenderGirl you can use like the fabric from curtains, or pantyhose just like seethrough fabric i guess

  • four hats!

  • ANYBODY KNOW WHAT TYPE OF FABRIC THEY USED!!!??

  • @UKLH760 Someone told me it's old tights! Like pantyhose! o;

  • this helped so much :D thank you guys!

  • can i use fabric from stockings for the fabric over the hoop?

  • Comment removed

  • my screen printing failed, what did i do wrong?

  • Really? The embroider hoop method? Why do all the screen printing tutorials on youtube show this method?

There are ways of getting professional looking prints at home without the expensive presses, and certainly without having to paint glue...over panty hoes...on an ebroidery hoop...

I have a few tutorial on my channel

  • @NateScreenPrints1

This is for quick and cheap screen printing for all of the novices and enthusiasts who don't know how to utilize a dark room, photo sensitive paper, special emulsion, photoshop, etc. etc.

  • wow. Thats shit

  • That's doing too much.

  • HOLY CRAP! That is so cool! Thank you thank you thank you for the tips! Threadbanger, you make my artistic side oh-so happy with each and every video. :D

  • wouldn't panty hoes work? That looked liked what you used.

  • THAT FUCKING SUCKT

  • Oh my gosh, this is seriously the easiest method out there that I've seen for this. Awesome!! Thank you so much~!!!

  • amazing i love you

  • The begining was wierd..

  • were do you get the ink????

  • @NatCat1997 at fabric and craft stores like JoAnn

  • THANK U. THIS HELPED SOO MUCH... :D

  • Gosh i wasn't paying attention and then i saw the flashing thing and the coat of arms and thought "Whoa when did this turn into a twilight show" :P

  • i have a T-shirt with the lighty upy thing on it !!!xx

  • haha i like the image you chose!

  • Kipkay does makemagazine projects!

  • That was an awesome demo. I can see me trying this. I just started a kids craft party cooperative. I see teaching teens your technique.

  • What kind of fabric do you use?

  • @ColorPaintSketch

any thin fabric, i think she used organza in this video

  • @TheAnnabellelovely so i could ue a muscle shirt and stretch it out on the embroidery hoop

ps could leggings be used instead? btw does the paint matter??

  • @CoolDudeMeez

NO, that would not work. Buy cheap thin fabric at your local arts and crafts store

  • what kind of fabric are you suppose to do??

  • Guys!! what looks simple doesnt always yeild great results, you saw the result from what she did, Like I said spend a few bucks to yeild decent results, 60 buck should get you started, the DIY kit at any fairly large craft shop and the photoflood buld from a camera shop and the aluminum cake pan and you're in business literally I've sold all my shirts I made with the kit, yields great results.. Just READ THE DIRECTIONS..

  • That modgepoge tracing is horrible,so wrong, great for 1rst graders but for the beginning adult this method is so wrong, for about 60 bucks get yourself a DIY screen print kit, from A.C Moore, Michaels or Dick Blick etc. I started with this starter kit, follow directions & you're good to go. ModgePodge is a waste along with that stretching over the round thinga mabob. The kit includes the ink, small 12x12 screen, small squeegy & emulsion. You'll also need a photo flood bulb & aluminum bake pan.

  • @OrangeMiddle hers turned out just fine. are you just mad that you wasted so much money on yours?

  • what type of fabric???

  • (Tutorial starts @ 1:10)

  • u mean 2 tell me it was that simple...man im a tard!! TY for the VID!!

  • im hatig on ths vid...simple

  • would a pantyhose work? ans where can i buy mod podge?

  • @Dillusion3000 mod podge is at any craft store

  • @yellowk3 thanks:D

  • questionnn, how would you do that on a "leather" jacket?

like on the back, same way??

someone please answer thank youuu :)

  • That mod podge shit looks hard. Much easier to make an acetate stencil of your image.

  • This was really self explanatory, thank you <3

  • ooooooooooh man. This is way easier than doing it with the stencil method. UGH

  • How do you create custom t shirts that light up?

  • why do you need to use an iron?

  • @guitarchick1313 It holds the ink in place so it doesnt wash out when you wash it :p

  • @guitarchick1313 Because the heat from the iron helps treat the ink so it lasts longer.

  • PLEASE ANSWER:Where can i buy the thinly woven mesh fabric????????

    please and thank you

  • @sebasisaskank, idk but you can buy organza, it works the same

  • @sebasisaskank, idk but you can buy organza, it works the same, oh wait i think that fabric that they use is fabric from tights

  • hey check out printfly on google.Create custom printed t-shirts with your slogans and photos.I am sure you will love it... Go ahead .

  • does the screen work after that for different designs or does is it a one time use only or do u only use that as a template and make shirts with the same desighn

  • Best place to find women gettop5.info

  • ugh the advertisements are annoying...

  • Where is that shop at?

    Please say Cali

  • I would like to silkscreen a larger design than an embroidery hoop sized design.

Is there something else that I can use instead of an embroidery hoop?

  • @xGunMoll a hula-hoop. why not?

  • thats so cool but it will take a lot of time when i am working with alot detailed picture

  • This didn't work for me.. :/

  • lol this tutorial was copied from another one that I saw on youtube like years ago! and the result on that one was WAY better

  • @ansiaaa666 can u remember which video that was?

  • @bmthbtf there is always the option of bending a wire coathanger into a circle or square....or perhaps use a cheap kitchen siv with the mesh cut off?

  • ima do this!!!!

  • for all you sloow pokes down there ... asking about how to an what is ... just fucking google it fools

  • can you use acrilic paint for this

  • @kittylover143 Acyrlic paint tends to bleed through more. Just get the ink.

  • What kind of fabric is the "screen" made from? Is it like cheese cloth or something?

  • where do u buy the fabric ink? (how much)

the water resistant glue? (how much)

n the fabric. also wut type of fabric r u using.(where to get n price)

  • @puppies3rock you can buy Mod Podge and fabric ink at a craft store like Michaels or AcMoore. For the fabric you can use curtains or nylon/polyester fabric from a fabric store like Joann's. Mod Podge is cheap like 3 or 4 dollars per bottle. You can get curtains at a dollar store. Hope that helps! :)

  • @ROZG1 If you cant find it anywere order it off amazon but I'm from philly I'm sure they have it in la just try micheals

  • Ya'll are my favorites! My reason for getting on youtube. Thank you so much for everything! Ya'll rock!! Inspiration, inspiration, inspiration.

  • were can u get the ink stuff?

  • @drumergirl814 you can some times get them at craft places

aaand.. where do you get the Mod Poge or whatever?

  • i always knew about this but.. never knew other alternates that i can use when drying the ink.. and for the cloth..

what kind of fabric is recommended to use though/ stockings fabric?

  • u are really good at that what u do

  • Very cool! and the 4 hats guy was pretty funny too!

  • this is wonderful thank you so very much for real!!

  • Finally a decent way to print at home! Thanks!!

  • Is Elmers glue like PVA glue? I have no idea what modpodge or Elmer's glue is.

  • Elmers glue is just a brand of white glue. Like the liquid kind you used in grade school. Any old white glue will do. Also Modpodge is for decopage, basically it makes things hard. Go to any craft store and they will be able to get something like it if not the actual brand for you.

  • Brilliant screen printing tips! ;)

  • Could you use stockings for the fabric on the hoops ?

  • that's a smart idea!
