First of all, how can there be naysayers? Gyptian has done so much for the reggae genre of music and hats off to the Soul Train Awards for getting it right. Hopefully, Grammy will take notice one of these years - and at least recognize your talents with a nomination. Keep it up - you have brought your style of music and an appreciation for all reggae musicians to a much broader audience.

i love this song but i hate to tell you all that there is only a market for this in NY, Atlanta, and Miami. They play this in the clubs of cities that have a large immigrant community.  This stuff doesnt come on the radio or TV, we have to find it on youtube. Knowing that, you really think award shows are going to acknowledge artist who have a large club market in 3 cities? Lil boosie, yo gotti, oj da juiceman, tour clubs year round getting 30k and 50k a show for years, never get acknowledged.
