  • se yon veritab lobey ak gagot e menm melanje ak fatra!!!!!

  • Menzanmi Haiti nou mele

  • They need better educated elected officials in Haiti because these people i am looking at in this video make me very shameful

  • hoh bondye , gade eta dirigan peyim lan. yap goument, you pa tande lot.

  • This video and the comments posted on it reflect the passion of the Haitian People. I think they could have been a lot more orderly. however I am not going to blame their lack of education or anything else. They are elected and are serving the interests of the people they represent. Comparing their situation to the past is unfair because we are living in a different time under different circumstances. Thankfully, after all this, they voted and chose someone! Hopefully not another "grand mangeur"

  • Sad to say is very painful to watch....

  • Out of curiosity, who fired the Prime Minister! Was it the President of the Republic, or the Senate? Isn't removing a Prime Minister should be debating before the removal but not after? Also, if she was fired supposedly millions are missing, isn't an investigation should be the best thing...Weird! Both presidents of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputes are awfully young. By the looks of these politicians, one can tell that they are from the lowest class of the population.

  • Dans quelle institution scolaire ces senateurs ont appris a parler le" francais marron"

  • For one, the chamber is too small, Two, isn't the president of the Senate supposes to have a gavel to stop all this nonsense. Is it me, but all those senators were laughing supposedly arguing such an important issue. Most have that nonchalant attitude about the whole issue. What a joke, what a shame and these are the minds that suppose to bring Haiti out of poverty.

  • I think if they had a bigger senate, they could making more noise..The main issue is far away than that...I think, to avoid such problem ,in the future, 1st they should raise up the minimum "prerequis " to be a senateur likewise graduated from a known university. 2nd They ought to pass an official exam related to internatioal law and the haitian constitution ,3rd It should be required to pass a psycho-social test to see if this future senator has the status quo to sit in the senate.

  • @gilgabe

It's notorious that more a Senate is strong more the country is stronger..these haitian senators that you are being watched had nothing positive to bring to the nation because they are mostly idiot, they are turning around different and unnecessary points....Overwhelmingly I judged their level of their standard is too low to sit in a Senate...

  • My grandfather was a Senator under F. Duvalier. He was a lawyer then a judge. We have pictures of him in the Senate wearing a black robe like the other senators and the speaker of the House wore also a black robe with a white shash and a balck hat with white plumage. Only French was spoken in the Parliarment which is not that important since French isn't exactly our mother tongue but all Senators & Deputies were educated. Eventhough, we didn't have democracy then but ignorance was not the norm.

  • @gilgabe

If your Grandfather was a powerful lawyer under the Francois Duvalier's era he should locked Francois for his crimes mostly against mulatos in Jeremie ...At this period the Senate was scared of Duvalier who was leading the Senate...

If you have to blame you could point your figers on Haitian Government who gave White and Mulatos authorization for "Plumage".

  • My friend, my grandfather was imprisoned under Magloire who came before Duvalier whom also was married to my grandmother's cousin. My whole family voted for Dejoie who was a mulato but like Aristide, F. Duvalier ran on the color ticket and won the masses. Like Aristide, he didn't take the elite, the bourgoise, the middle class and the mulatoes long to realize that Duvalier was a communist. In return, the US bought him out and he was given the carte blanche to kill (Courtesy of US governments)

  • Dejoie first cousin is married to my mother's first cousin. My family isn't from the mass. We are well know members of "la creme du Cap" from generations & generations. My grandfather wasn't a muderer, at the end, he withdrew from politic and remained a judge until he died. As a result, all my family left in the early 70's cause like Aristide, Duvalier brought the uneducated class in power in the form of Macout & Millisiens. Most were ignorant paysants who would shoot anyone without thinking.

  • @gilgabe

I kow the story..But Aristid unlike Duvalier brought "Chimere" and Catholic Church represented by vodou group to power but Aristid is still using the same strategy to come back in Haiti..I think that is the main reason they fired The Prime Minister....

  • @timaliceetbouqui
