The reason I'm fascinated when crazy people laugh is that there's no logic, and nothing to be said or done in response, they're simply having a wild time in their state of mind, and you just might be the victim of their actions. The reason I like Light's laugh bect of all is that it starts out restrained, and sounding as if it's painful to hold it in, until he surrenders completely to his lack of inhibitions, and it replicates what it might have sounded like when he transitioned out of sanity.

@TheCrabby09 Because Japanese is foreign to you, so whereas if an English voice actor is doing a poor job you can tell right away because you know what sounds unnatural in English. But in Japanese you cannot tell whether a voice actor sounds unnatural. To you, anyone speaking in Japanese pretty much sounds cool... your perception forms your reality. (Im not just talking about the laugh)
