@thelivingpoet, not according to what I have been reading...Islam is the oldest religion on this Earth. It wasn't until deviation began that people started all of these so called "African" religions and customs. God whose proper name is Allah...and that is what we called him, was the center of all facets of our lives. Africa wasn't even that part of the Earth's real name...it is named after a French explorer, I believe.

The NOI teaches Islam and the followers are Muslims. Islam means submission & peace and the NOI has minimal to no record of violence in it's history. Muslim means to submit to the will of God and the NOI members submit; all members take the Shahada; The NOI religious book is the Qu'ran; they adhere to the 5 principles of Islam (Belief in one God/Allah, Salat, fasting, zakat and Hajj to mecca). To confirm attend Jummah, Mosque Mariam. The NOI is still the NOI and under Farrakhan's guidance.

If you want to know about islam as it was black and black indigenous afrabian (African Arabian) people being the first muslims, get this book by true islam; black Arabia and the African origins of islam. You may notice pale Arabs but the original Arabs were black people. We started islam and what the honorable elijah Muhammad taught was true islam. Not diverted islam due to invaders.

Everyone agrees that all civilization started in Africa. So why is Islam more prevalent over there more than any other religion? Why is America and her Allies trying 2 change it to Christianity, the youngest religion, killing innocent men, women, and children in the process? Why r they so afraid of Islam? Why did they covert us to Christianity when they brought us In the holes of ships over here to America from Africa over 450 yrs. Ago? YES, WE WERE MUSLIMS :)

I have to get back with u on Judaism, cuz I can't find it in my notes. Islam is new to the western hemisphere, because the Caucasian rulers over here wanted to keep Islam out of the west...especially America. Why is that? If you look at the African countries over there on that continent, most of those nations are Muslim nations...America and her Allies r over there trying to push Democracy and Christianity on them...all that is new to them

@missyouhoo, no ma'am, I beg to differ. Christianity is the youngest...only 551 yes old. Buddhism is 35,000 years old, but Islam has no birth record, it has no beginning and definitely no ending. The Caucasians try to put a beginning on it, but they really can't...it was here before they were even on the Earth. With the aboriginal peoples of th Earth.
