  • Gun rhymes better than Rebecca black

  • This is music

    .

  • fucking pendoses

  • Is that thing heavy? Sure looks like it.

  • @AccessDenied55 exualy quite light for what it is(a general purpose machine gun firing 7.62x54mmR)

  • @13thmistral Is this supose to be held by hand, or is it better to use on a mount?

  • @AccessDenied55 both

thats why it is called general purpose machine gun

it can be used as a medium machine gun, on a tripod, or as a light machine gun on a bipod or in youre hand

the tripod wil be the most accurate, but not the most portable

    its an all purpose gun

  • @13thmistral Im kind of just getting into the gun hobby thing, what do you mean by General Purpose? Like it can only be used for like just reuglar bttle.

  • has this guy ever shott a gun before. how about leanin in a little.

  • @jhnb12876 You try firing a GPMG from a kneeling position. Just lifting the damn thing is harder than it looks.

  • People Killing Machine - PKM.

  • @TaZ101SAGA :No,it's Pure Killing Machine

  • @MrKalash19 ha ha....

  • I like this gun :)

  • I have two words, "Ashley Spurlin"... owns that gun like its a fucking water toy.

  • like a take one of them there guns out spotlighting

  • YES SIR SURE DOES NEED A BIPOD

  • wich round is more powerfull the 7,62x54r or the 7,62x39

i dont know a shit about guns so dont laugh at me

and i dont realy gett the whole caliber thing

  • @donayrton 7.62x54r is more powerful

  • @donayrton 7.62x54R, the case is longer (54mm vs 39mm) so there is more powder

  • 0:25 now he thinks hes the shit ;D

  • greatest machine gun ever made

  • @ftf1987 some might argue that the FN MAG (in all it's various forms) holds that title.

  • @thetubewithin both are superb, but i think the PKM has the edge in terms of reliability, ease/cost of manufacture, and weight (pkm is almost 10lbs lighter!!!). weight is a huge factor in this case as man portability is vital for the GPMG role.

  • This gun was meant to be fired from the waist or for being mounted as a turrent gun.

  • the only problem with this is that it doesn't use disintegrating belts

  • @inkbot2000 . Actually it does use shorter semi disintegrating belts of 25 rounds each that can be easilly linked together to any desirable length. 25 rounder belts in this case make ergonomically more sense than NATO linked types. The Russian equivalents can be quickly retreived and refilled, whilst the western disintegrating links leave a link and spent case in huge messy piles.

  • I like the wood stock.

  • @SMGJohn don't be such a comunust

  • Srsly don't even know how to hold it right in the Russian military we learned how to hold Russian fire arms how they where meant to be held not like shitty American weapons

  • @SMGJohn your not Russian, your a wannabe piece of worthless shit, you should go kill yourself for being a traitor and a liar. Also, America has the strongest fighting force in the history of the world so i don't know what the fuck your talking a about, im pretty sure we know how to aim

  • @thel3g3ndkillr Your not a human, your a wannabe piece of wortless shit, now we HUMANS are better then you we fight better then you go and chew on your dollar

  • @SMGJohn last time i checked, you were a traitorous piece of shit, you aren't even worthy of breathing the same air i do. Go kill yourself you wannabe piece of shit

  • @thel3g3ndkillr So that means we humans are less worth then you!? Get out of our planet alien shit! We don't need you here to and chew on your alien gum!

  • @SMGJohn You are an idiot, you make no sense and you should never get on youtube, let alone your computer, ever again. Just shut up and admit that your a wanna be

  • @thel3g3ndkillr I make no sense and you call me an idiot. I think your a stupid Alien but I understand I make no sense because I speak English and that must be hard language for Aliens. Now chew your alien gum!

  • @SMGJohn your a fucking idiot, if i couldn't speak English then i couldn't argue with you. Your a worthless human being who deserves nothing but death

  • @thel3g3ndkillr Holy dog shit. Your a worthless alien that can't speak English. Now go chew on alien gum

  • @SMGJohn what the fuck is alien gum, your a stupid piece of wanna be shit who should be beaten to death

  • @thel3g3ndkillr Wow you don't even know what your chewing, great!

  • @SMGJohn are you a fucking idiot? your not worth any more of my time, this is my last insult: your a worthless piece of shit who doesn't have a fucking clue how to argue, go throw yourself of a cliff.

  • @thel3g3ndkillr Good bye stupid Alien go back to where you came from!

  • @SMGJohn Seriously? Who has won almost every war they have been a part of? The US with out shitty US weapons right?

  • @Grecian92 Hmm, I don't know haven't heard of any nation that has won every war they have taken part in.

  • @SMGJohn Hmmm did I fucking say every war? No re read

  • @Grecian92 LOL You didn't you said every war they had taken part in and so did I replay I didn't know about any country that had won every war they had taken part in. Maybe it's you that have to reread

  • @SMGJohn there is a nation that has lost every war it's been in, the sovereign military order of malta whenever threatened the citizens packed up and moved; essentially being taken over

  • @Grecian92

And how many wars has the US fought alone? Apart from Vietnam I cant think of any. And vietnam wasnt a victory

  • @IdarkphoenixI

Revolutionary War and War of 1812 when we mopped up britain.

Mexican-American War where we pushed Mexico further south (thank god we shrank the border)

The Spanish–American War When Spain got handled.

And technically the American Civil War was US vs CS, put we wont count that one.

And Vietnam wasn't fought solely by the US although they were the majority of combatants.

So for sole US involvement its looking like 4-0

  • @03protegeES I hesitate to call the war of 1812 a win for the US when we started the war our goal was to invade Canada and we failed miserably at it though we did manage to burn down quite a few government buildings before running away, and while we did sucsesfully fight off the enevitable British retaliation we still failed to achieve the primary objective of the war (take over canada) so militarily I would call it a draw at best but thats just me

  • @IdarkphoenixI

US was not alone in Vietnam, first of all you are forgeting the ARVN troops, then the South Koreans, Australians, New Zealanders and some Thai too.

  • @PyroclasticJoe British...

  • wait wait.. hes american?

  • what was that guy shooting eh was somebody special like marine recon or delta force or something like that did anyone else notice his 1911 with extended mag and pachymar grips?

  • is there acualy an 7.62x54mmR selective fire batle rifle ?

  • The SVT-40, but that 's a ww2 era weapon.

  • Battle rifle, not aware of. Designated marksman rifle, yes, the SVD. Nice thing. Romanian knockoffs (the PSLs) are sold in the US.

  • the svd is semi automatic and desegnated as a sniper and a batle rifle

ps svd is one of my favorits

  • @0x123456789ABCDEF svd is semi auto, only not select fire

  • how much would it cost?

  • Israel wouldnt need to exist if fascist fucks like you were never born. Fuck europe, fuck germany, fuck all you white aryan assholes. but you are right the united states is not a nation, we are an idea that has lifted humanity into a new democratic age and destroyed racial and ideological barriers that caused the wars that fucks like you started, and got your asses kicked in

  • you ever fire a 20 pound machine gun that fires ~700 rounds a minute while standing or kneeling? not exactly the easiest task. Some people **hint You Hint** are just douches and like to talk shit about an entire country just cause your jelous of our nation.

  • @Schultz98 who would be jealous of a country on default

  • @emasterpiece15 well lets see, we the largest most powerful corporations in the world that employ a shit ton of people inside and outside of our borders, have one of the strongest best equipped militaries in the world, have many rights like owning fire arms(most European countries and Australia/New Zealand can't say that). All countries live off a deficit so your comment makes no sense. Even with the large US deficit we have the largest GDP in the world by far at the moment. Your were saying?

  • @Schultz98 bitch, please

  • Watching your videos makes me think the M60 is way better, since its heavier i can handle the recoil a lot better than the PKM does

  • This gun is the ak-47 of LMGs. I would love to see somebody trying to get this beast to jam

  • and they're both one of Kalashnikov's marvels

  • man i would give anything to try this monster...

but, i was wondering, what's the deal to shoot with a higher caliber? i mean, can a 7.62 mm bullets pass through body armors and light armored vehicules? I don't know so much about guns yet, so I know, it's surely a silly question.

by the way, don't bother me about my bad english, it should be enough easy to realize that this is not my first language

  • bigger calibers mean more stopping power, so basicly yeah they are more powerfull and they would stop and knock down someone with an armor more easilly, but a bigger rounds is slower and gives much more recoil, the pkm is uncontrollable due to its high firepower. i wouldnt say that either this or m60 can pass thru armored vehicles but they can obliterate infantry, for passing thru body armors a 338 sniper rilfe or the m82 anti material rilfe might pass thru armored vehicles and the 50 cal mg.

  • right, thanks.

  • a 7.62 mm round could penetrate body armor and if it does so it will have a terrible effect on the soldier. it will rip up his insides by tumbling when it hits him. As for a transport vehicle if the armor is light then it could rip it to shreads.

  • It isn't the caliber that counts really, but the ammunition used. Like there is the 7.62x25mm Tokarev round which is used in pistols then the 7.62x39 which is the AK-47 round, then there is the 7.62x54R round which this thing uses. The difference is the amount of propellant used and bullet aerodynamics. Take the .50 cal. The 12.7x33 in the Desert Eagle is much less powerful than the 12.7x99BMG round even the 7.62x54R is more powerful. So it is the round not the caliber.

  • also the minute of angle in the round and the gun for accuracy

  • Interesting, now I have a question, because I don't know much thing about guns:

Why is AK-47 more powerful than 5.56x45mm rounds if it uses 7.62x39mm? Just like 7.62x54R is more powerful than 12.7x33.

  • Good question. That is for mostly balistic reasons. Ak-47 has a higher impact energy than a 5.56x45mm round. However at certain ranges the 5.56 does wierd things that make it more effective against unarmored foes, but that really doesn't answer the question. You have to take in all the factors when figuring a bullets power. Like aerodynamics, bullet weight, bullet caliber, propellant amount and the weapon it's fired from. In the AK-47 case it is the bullet weight that contributes to its power.

  • Hmmm, pretty interesting!

So, hypothetically, if a 5.56x45mm round had the same weight of a 7.62x39mm, it would be more powerful?

  • It could hit with the same amount of kinetic energy if that's what you're asking, muzzle velocity increases KE by a far greater degree than bullet weight. In fact the standard M855 5.56 ammo hit with only slightly less energy than the standard 7.62x39mm.

  • kenetic energy = (1/2)*mass*(velocity^2)

It is easier to give a smaller object more kenetic energy. A gun fires and pushes the gun back and the bullet forward with equal force. The gun kicks back with recoil and hits the shooter hard in the shoulder, but the bullet has enough kenetic energy to go through wood or in some cases metal.

I'm guessing the main reason why the 7.62 does slightly more dammage is because there is more gunpowder in the cartrage. And more force to propel the bullet.

  • @FedorovAvtomat someones done their reasearch lol

  • @FedorovAvtomat

Interesting side note, the 7.62x51 has just about the same fps as the .50 cal. so why use the .50? Cause its a half inch diameter bullet that destroys anything it hits or for that matter, grazzes. In this case, the bullet weight and size is the difference.

  • @FedorovAvtomat Don't forget about the actual weight of the bullets... .50BMG>>>>>>.50AE

  • @FedorovAvtomat

That IS caliber. .50 BMG is HIGHER CALIBER than .50 AE. The first number only refers to the case diameter dimensions. The wecond number is the round length, ergo, BMG would be "higher caliber" than .50 AE, ergo, caliber does = power.

  • crazy kickback, more than the M249 saw

  • So the pkm got bigger rounds than the m60?

  • yes the M60 shoots 7.62x51 caliber ammunition, while the PKM shoots 7.62x54, which is slightly bigger and also used in the SVD Dragunov and the Mosin Nagant.

  • Its a 7.62x54 not 51. this is a russian gun.

  • Does that thing have a worse kick than an M-60?

  • what are those handle thingys u always see on a LMG? Does is unlock the ammo box so U can reload or what?

  • Well in some weapons yes but mostly its used for carrying

  • Carrying handle and it's used to remove the barrel.

  • wat is better m249 or this wat size round does this gun shoot

  • m249 is better but it uses 5.56 same as most assault rilfes, pkm uses 7.62, but only the first round hits the target the rest just miss...

  • and how do you know this? any source you can send me?

  • no need its word wide known, jsut read the comments

  • comments from kids who only know the PKM, from playing video games, dont count.

  • sorry to dissapoint but the only games that use pkm are reallistic ones that the developers have tried them out.

  • you cant tell what a gun is like by playing a video game. You cant be a expert on guns by playing a video game. You have to shoot a gun to find out what its like. You see a ak-47 in a video game and think it has big kick. Try shooting a real Ak-47. The real ones kick like a mule, but they are deffinitaly not inaccurate. You aim down the sights and line em up, and youv got a kill.

  • the ak47 is accurate? right you might wanna listen to your advice gamer, because real guns are not like the super accurate weapons of cod waw, lol the bar never misses and no recoil either. compared with almost every assault rilfe out there apart from a compact akm the ak 47 doesnt even reach the distant targets, id stick with the fn fall or g3 they both use bigger rounds and are much more accurate.

  • Comment removed

  • Mabe i should have been a bit clearer. What is accurate to you and what is accurate to me are two tottaly different things. If the weapon will hit my target that i set up at the 100 ft line at the outdoor shooting range, then to me its accurate. If i can shoot a target at 200 meters. then to me its accurate. Im not going to use the gun to snipe someone. So for me, the gun is accurate enough.

  • thats true but after a round or two the ak 47 suffers in recoil and accuracy, unlike the g3 or m4, you could pick any assault rilfe out there and turn it into a long range rilfe with a scope, but the ak 47.. well id try the ak 74 or an 94 but with ak47 you might not wanna try 400 meters or longer, bullets will start falling from their firing angle down to the ground, not what id call long range.

  • what a tart.

  • G3 has much more recoil than the AK 47, and the AK 47 is excellent at ranges at which combat takes place in modern battlefields. Believe me, I fired both and I do have a video of it on youtube.

  • ofcourse its more powerfull so it has much more recoil, but seriusly the g3 is much more accurate in long ranges than the ak47. famous sniper rilfes like msg 90 and psg1 arre based on g3, but ak 47? well in long rages the bullets hardly hit the target.

  • True, but keep in mind, the AK47 was designed for combat at ranges of up to 300-400 meters so if you are trying to hit a target at 500 meters then there is no surprise that it misses a lot.

  • 7.62X51 to be exact

  • yeah its bigger than ak 47 762x39 its the same as most sniper rilfes but that doesnt mean its effective 7.62x51 is also used in g3a2 which i find a terrible assault rilfe, personally

  • G3A2? Mmm, sounds like a naming scheme commonly found in a video game *ahem*

  • ......NATO. The PKM is 7.62x54R (ruski round)

Also, not quid quo pro to the actual gun, the PKM is actually very accurate with a proper seating position(heavy gun).. I have not had the opportunity to shoot it myself but I know it is like such..Alot of game developers have never touched the gun themselves, so of course there is huge bias..

But, with common sense you would know that the original developers would not have made a gun that is both automatic and uncontrollable after the first shot.

  • wHaT?

  • How much ammo was in the gun?

  • lol thats some serious kick! 1-2 bullets hit target...the rest just sprays somewhere right of it^^

  • See the new Pecheneg, this machine gun is much better than the PKM,than all!!!

  • in somalia this machine gun cost is 1200 $ second hand one new one is only 2000$ is so high price

  • He can't control recoil for shit.

  • why not u try it?

oh i'm sorry u din't use real guns before only play in games =)

  • I heard a 7.62mm AP, fired from a PKM, could go straight thru hummvee armor.

  • Not called "the reaper" for nothing :)

  • Im a US soldier and I got to fire and carry the pkc same as (pkm) machine gun in Iraq on conveys and i got to say that this weapon is made for war!! For all the conditions that we put the weapon through i have never had or seen the weapon jam!! unlike the m240

  • very unlikely a US soldier gets this thing issued, resupply is the word.

You aure your a soldier? I could imagine PMCs carrying those because they are pretty cheap.

  • Shooting GPMGs while standing makes u spray the rounds, no matter how hard u try. but with tripods or bipods they make wonders. I really love the PKM

  • PKM stands for Pure Killing Machine =)

  • @sultankraver ... Hand held, it is useless and a waste of ammo.

  • @sultankraver Better off with an RPK.

  • @sultankraver actually the pk machine gun stood for perfect killing machine gun

  • its called recoil smart one

  • he's russian, give him a break unisprache

  • My friend is in Russian army now. He's machinegunner. He said, that shooting from PKM is awesome!!! But during shooting he heart his shoulder... Becase the blowback is very strong!

  • the legendary PKM (reaper) my second favorite russian killing machine (AK-47 is number 1)

  • damn recoil

  • It's a great gun, but it really is meant to be mounted on a vehichle or fired on a tripod/bipod........

  • yeah these dumb ass yanks would probably try dismount a tank cannon and fire it at their hips

  • That actually went through my head at one point.

  • crazy bastard

  • Yea give me a thumbs down because you don't like to hear the facts.

  • Whoa, that's a kick.

Wonder what would happen if he was holding it with one hand LOL.

  • HOLD THE TRIGGER

  • that shit kicks like a mule

  • LOL,thats so cool, whats that pussy doing there?

  • with that much kick its probably better to be prone with the bipod down.

  • it only has that mutch kick because he isnt in the right 'stance'

  • the gun really kicks

  • My biggest regret is that we had one of these machineguns in the back of our humvee for a month and a half, and i didnt even get to shoot it :( Or the RPGs, but that is kinda hard to explain away.

  • the Sandniggers are no match for a well trained, and well equiped soldier.Ragheads only know the basic's of firing a weapon, and even less about actual face to face gun fights. They operate on hit and run & IED,we operate on both defensive and offensive tactics and are not afraid to dig in,stand our ground, and fight back with raging ferocity. We will win every time,if backed up properly.

I wish we could HellFire Missle the Hell out of the Sandniggers domain.Turn the whole place into a gravel pit!

  • Thank you, captain obvious. AND WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH THE VIDEO?

  • Nothing. Just retarded pussies beliving in chainletters, posting that everywhere possible.. Gah i hate this shit.

  • Dam this is a nice gun. I wonder how a smelly sandmonkey can get their hands on this gun and i cannot.

  • the ATF thats how...f**king liberals...

  • Lrn2 Black Market.

  • pkm vs belt fed 50. bmg hmmm

  • just imagine a us humvee patroling slowly through the night and the BAMB!!! a terrorist with a PKM fires a whole belt into the humvee, the would suck badly

  • Not if it's armored.

  • The terrorist would probably fall over and shoot himself in the face because insurgents are fucking stupider then special children.

  • Every time the terrorists have tried to stand toe to toe with our boys, the ragheads get slaughtered, PKM or not.

  • That thing definitly kicks like a mule like BF2 says lol but it looks like tons of fun to fire and it looks pretty sweet

  • hahaah fun at the base

  • Hmm if im surprised he's firing at shoulder height...he should know better and use a bipod and fire it prone....

  • Ah brings back memories. I used to be a M60 gunner in the Army Corp of Engineers. The M249 replaced it in support units while the M240 replaced it in most front-line combat arms units. Despite stupid stuff written about it on the internet, it was a SUPERB weapon that was accurate enough to easily hit 600 meter targets with iron sights and 800 meter targets with assistance from a spotter watching the fall of the tracers. It also rarely jammed in my experience with it. But it was a bitch to clean.

  • that fuckin thing has more recoil than the ak!

  • The ak47 fires the 7.62x39mm round the PKM fires harder Nagant 7.62x54mm ammo

  • i must get one!

  • that is an evil fucking weapon

  • That's a fucking battle rifle round...why the hell is he firing it like that?

  • i wonder it too, that way u never hit target

  • if he was shooting in the prone position with bipods then he could fire alot :P

  • nice mg love the thing nothing comes close to it

  • it fires a full sized rifle round. 7.62x54R

  • big recoil
