Today 40 years ago - 10/10/70 - we did the same thing at our wedding...sang "They Were You" as part of the wedding ceremony. Wanting to relive the moment, we searched for "They Were You" and found your rendition at your wedding. We can only hope you will be as happy as we have been these past 40 years.We had met doing community theater together, and have gone on to make our lives in the world of theater and are still going strong. OH my stars that was beautiful! This is one of my favorite songs, and how wonderful to see such a beautiful couple do such a beautiful rendition of it! They must BOTH be in theater, I am guessing, to be such strong vocalists- and what a "Fantastick" idea to perform this at their wedding. I cannot believe the people in the background aren't crying or smiling! This is great, and I wish these people all the happiness. : D
