Dear Spsyed Ji Sney Lata was very pretty actress who worked in few movies. in this sing she is so confident in displaying her facial expressions. She was very girlish in her appearance nomatter whatever she wore in the movies.

Today i came to know from your channel that it is sung by Suman kalayanpur rather than Lata Ji. I love Suman ji's s voice. Her voice is amazing in the song of "Shama" movie "Dil gham se jal raha hai". Such talented actress suffered by the monopoly of estableshed singers.

In those days, it was almost impossible to break the monopoly but still many good female playback singers, including Suman Hemmadey Kalyanpur, proved they can also do justice to the lyrics. Suman remained very humble and sweet. She enjoyed singing with Rafi sahib as well Hemant Kumar (Na Tum Hame Jano, film Baat Ek Raat Ki, linked here /watch?v=ol4gsE4DxfE).

@kranti1947 , well it won't be the first time there are errors on DVD/CD labels and castings, and then those errors are copied zillions of times. However, the singing voice in this song sounds like Suman HK, but it could be Lata M or Aathi M. Viewers may debate the dispute.

@spsyed Unfortunately, most of the Internet info on the vocalist of this song is incorrect. You will have to buy an authentic CD or cassette of the songs of this movie to get the correct information. This vocalist is Suman Kalyanpur, for sure, and not Lata Mangeshkar.
