lol, we all had to walk. No public transport at glasto. The gig was a secret, thats why they weren't on pyramid. I walked (stumbled) for an hour after finding out they were on and caught their last song... but Fatboy Slim was on after so it was all good :D

I was there as well at Sziget fest BP 2007. It was a real blow up! Superb! Im glad to finally hear see and feel them on stage LIVE! Magic!!

I take a DJ to Glastonbury, but was not wearing it on this night but did see Madness - however it was rammed in there. You only need smart dress for the Casino, it is very disappointing in there anyway.

Tris2000 - Neville Staple played a full-on Specials set at Leftfield

Undisputed highlight of Glastonbury for me. Was grinning like a nutter and frugging like a loon all set, despite sardine-like conditions. I think the choice of stage actually helped ratchet up the atmosphere. What a gig. Sound was amazing inside, so a shame to hear it didn't carry to the outside. Tris2000, I don't think The Specials actually played in the end.

I was 3 meters from the front, knew about it and turned up and hour early but still didn't get in the front row. We were absolutely packed in like sardines. LOVED IT! My fave band of all time!

It was great - but the BBC didn't show it because it was a "secret" event, although most people discovered it by chance. Incidentally, tried to catch the Specials afterwards, and headed to Strummerville stage and after a long wait we got the Beat instead. Where were the Specials playing?
