I get the scam emails all the time and I rope them in just like the scam baiters do. I will string them out as long as I can until they finally get the idea that I am not sending them any money for whatever it is they want. Some of the emails are timeless and lmao funny when they claim to be a lawyer or someone important from some country and they can't go a sentence without spelling a word or making some grammar error. So funny.

It's very easy to see which emails are from scammers. It isn't a joke to work against them to defraud them. I applaud all those that do this. I agree, the time they invest with them takes time away from unsuspecting individuals that the scammers might be taking money from. There should be tutorials online for people in how to deal with these scum of the earth. They aren't worth my spit.

Report them to the; Bereau of Investigation and Intelligance Attorney General's Office, Division of Law 1102 Q. Street,  Sacramento, ca 95814

Its best to write them a letter and explain your situation if you think that you life is in anger or if you think that they are hacking into your personal life, for a sample your cell phone is part of them gething Inf. or your computer's IP. Or go to the F.B.I. they will help you.

The last time someone tried to phish my bank account, I followed the fake link. Then analyzed the source code of that page to find the real IP/Server that the information is posted to. I was able to remotely fingerprint he OS and it was a PDA smart phone located in Europe. I then proceeded to make that PDA's internet connection "unusable" so no one else would get scammed, and in the process sent enough data to the PDA to leave that scammer a HEFTY data charge on his next months bill :-)

IMHO: EBAD DOES ITS SHARE TOO. Automated software causes many problems. Feedback and DSR's are BS! They don't remove libelous FB, and publish slander for the world to see. IMO, they caused retalitory FB (by automated software, also causes false strikes). Their moderators suspend decent ebayers, but permit ebashing and HATE in their chat rooms. Me thinks ebad scammeth too much! Why have so many users quit? IMHO: The new TOS policies OFFEND and damage many decent ebayers! e-management sux!

And some sellers are creeps too! Many DO misrepresent their items, and passs off junk as new etc. They take their good ol time to send the item, if at all. They add costs after the auction (I had one say that something else was needed for the item to work, at added cost - sold separately, it was useless without it). Also had one try to add handling cost after it closed. Some inflate S&H a lot. Sometimes it is what they DON'T tell you! Both buyers and sellers do their share of swindling. BEWARE!

Since ebad changed in May (no negs 4 buyers), many sellers are gettin scammed by buyer extorsion. False claims (lies . . . about misrepresentation or they say item was not sent -- received); to ebay to get a chargeback with Payhell. 21 day holds on Payhell. Threaten to give seller NEG FB IF . . . then give the NEG FB after all. IMHO, ebad is a scammer's delight! Ebad seems to give those buyers the benefit of the doubt too. They get their item, they take the $ back, then give NEG FB! BEWARE!
