This a Great add for this game! Were you guys watching Soul Train? Ma, why didn't Randall Cunningham allow his name to be used? It had all his skills! Keith Jackson was one of the best tight ends in this game and faster than the wide receivers!You guys should of added a quick run by Bo Jackson plowing through the defense. This should have been used when the game was created! Keep up the good work!

Most people I knew thought it was Super Tecmo Bowl. Probably cause just sounded better. We called it super tec for short.

There were actually two games. The first was Techmo Bowl, and then Super Techmo Bowl. The first game did not have all the teams, and had set plays on offense. Super Techmo version, you could change your plays. Also, Techmo bowl did not record the stats, nor injuries. The first version came out in the late 80's, 1988 I believe. The second came out in 1992.

Don't know what you're looking at, but all you have to look at this game #1 IN THIS VIDEO at :25 or just search for it on eBay and look there. Every version of the game I found said "Tecmo Super Bowl". Just look. Who knows? Also you misspelled "Tecmo".

Yes you are right, it was a hillarious game... you could go 16 ano 0 with anybody. Unfortunately defensive touchdowns weren't tallied so I'd just run the ball all the way back to my own one yard line if possible... early in the season Joe Montana could throw the ball to Jerry Rice all the way from one endone to the other... Joe Backson (Bo knows) was absolutely un-tackleable... the Bears best wide receiver was Brad Muster (catch 56) he was slow as fuck but he could break like 5 tackles at once!
