Lenovo did not buy IBM, Lenovo bought a tiny piece of the IBM business that manufactured the thinkpads. IBM is 5 or 6 times larger than Lenovo and is one of the many companies that is not owned by the Chinese Communist Party (in principle). Just saying....

Ok. For all those who think this is a decent machine is FUCKING STUPID. Ever had to fix a lenovo motherboard on one of their shitty desktops?! Password protected bios?! WTF?! they are as stupid as IBM because IBM sold to them. This unit is good for one thing, wiping the digital ass of the iPad. lenovo has very inferior consumer products and as for the "power and money" that someone else stated earlier, THEY HAVE NO POWER and minimal money. It's sad that everyone has to try to model their tablet

This device seems a bit laggy when the demonstrator pulls the screen out. Windows 7 is nice, however the UI that shows when the screen is pulled out is just far too cumbersome to use...

My short review is not based on how whether or not it is ripping off the iPad, but one the usability of the product itself.

No offence to Lenovo but they do have crap products (like the two computers at work that just died for no reason at all). Especially in Silicon Valley; these guys are as hopeless as Acer.

I'l give you guys some info,ino many like slagging off the Chinese but here we go, M$,Apple and other big companies steal ideas&copyright others inventions and ideas,the ipad spinny wheel was created yrs ago by a Brit I think but good old apple got it, M$ always buy out or force smaller companies or inventers to bow out. China make their own processors,graphicscards,their own memory,their own hd's, infact they make everything,they even make all the branded stuf for....EVERYONE,I say good on them

The viewing angle is painfull to the eyes...long live iPad's IPS display.

The interface is very very slow...long live iPad's flow of operating.

It's thick, long live iPad's dimensions.

I'm 100% sure, this doesn't go 10 hours on battery, my iPad does...

And this thing was actually revealed at the Consumers Electronic Show (CES) that was held at Las Vegas earlier this year.

Firstly, this product is a LENOVO. The history is it bought IBM's laptop and desktop sector.

Secondly, the name ideapad have been there since lenovo bought IBM a few years ago. So for u saying lenovo named it's ideapad after apple's ipad, it is not true.

Thirdly for a company that bought IBM's laptop and desktop sector, they dont need to copy apple at all with the power and money that Lenovo have.
