@wernernon78 Not exactly... i'm half Belgian half Polish and I live in Bruxelles and I'm in Poland 1 or 2 times a year. But You're right - I love Warsaw and for me this is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. This is not only concrete - there is a lot of beautiful parcs and great Old Town. W like Saska Kepa district and Wilanów. I prefer Vistula river with green wild riverbank than concrete walls along Seine. And I'm not ashamed of it. :)
Warsaw used to be the second greatest european center before the WW I & II. "Thanks" to &#@!% Germany our beautiful upper-class town was TOTALLY damaged (almost in 90%), we had a hard time turning that situation into better but Poland still works on repairing the war results, not only material damages, but most of all - mental. Our HISTORY is on top of the biggests in the world so we have to know it well so that we can learn from the past for the better future.
I'm a hugarian, and I love my polish brothers and sisters...Warszawa is a beutiful city!!! People are very friendly and girls are very beutiful...I love Poland!
Prague is much better :-)
