I just got mine in the mail and I'm very fond of it. but I do agree with you that the basic zoom sizes are just too small. The largest font is still not that great. BTW, in order to hear anything you need headset, but the speaker at the back handles the very soft beeps it makes to communicate button presses or the firmware progress.

I have the Astak 5 Pocket Pro and am using a 16gb SDHC card. The instruction book tells you there is no speaker and that you MUST use the 3.5 jack to hear sounds. (headphone or speaker) Yes this device does support the EPUB. Glad you decided to review it.
