@carsonlstivers It's upbeat, it's jazzy, and it sounds awesome. It's very similar to Tank. Especially with the drums in the beginning at exactly 0:06.
@GiftOfaSpaaazZz if they fused it'll be a storyline with spike partnering up with motoko they are in a futuristic era in time it'll be know as ghost in the bebop instead of shell and it'll have multiple characters. that's my opinion since you asked that and i happened to ask that to. but just didn't say it
@Lifestyle793 Ah, yes, speak your mind! :P So yeah, both shows a pretty futuristic, except Bebop takes place in outer space as Ghost in the Shell doesn't, so I think it would be pretty cool if the setting included outer space too if both shows were combined. Universal virus or something... and YES, motoko and spike have to team up, even if it seems odd at first! XD
"Ghost in the Bebop" --nice! :)
or maybe"Cowboy in the Shell"... ?
hmm... i think your title idea wins. Ghost in the Bebop ftw! :P
It's songs like these that actually make me like jazz.
If only ALL other Jazz songs were as upbeat as this, I wouldn't find the genre so boring and complicated. I would know because I used to play it in high school.
Jazz Fusion and Acid Jazz fulfills that for me now. Unfortunately, as I was a former School Jazz Guitarist and Keyboardist, I was bored out of my mind as well.
If we did the technically demanding yet overtly thrilling median to fast tempo songs, that would've been a REAL show!
@csexy13 ...indeed, it does...especially the scene where Spike's vehicle is about to fall into the atmosphere, and a friend of his uses an old Space Shuttle to try and rescue him!
@Browncoat2002 the music for Samurai Champloo was done by Nujabes, Tsutchie, Force of Nature, Fat Jon, and Minmi as a singer. I don't know of any Samurai Champloo music composed by Yoko Kanno though.
@Jeddyintheflesh I've seen people list her for that but I'm not actually familiar with that show. I'll have to check her official bio to see if it's listed. Maybe some people had just listed it wrong. I do know however that she composed songs for Cowboy Bebop, which her band The Seatbelts performed.
Songs in this anime to a range of "Casino Jazz that works perfect for chase scenes" to "Depressing but hopeful memories of forgotten mistakes or killed loved ones (in anime saying)". Thats what my expression of saying is, and yes I totally agree with "stgOOX".
To those whom draw relation between Ghost in the Shell and Cowboy Bebop's soundtrack, it's not mere coincidence, Yoko Kanno produced all the music for both anime.
"About the two you went out with last time.
Spike is like you, but takes food. As long as it's not my lunch, we're good.
I like Motoko, but why do I feel like I need to check my brain for parts she may have hacked?
Just my opinion commander, no need to go spreading it around."
