Really it's O&As fault for always focusing the conversation on him, but also he's great so why shouldn't they. It reminds me of when there's a female comic on and everyone bitches about that shitty female comic stereotype, but the reality is that O&A are forcing her to be that by being gross old men who want to bring up sex to a young women over and over.
@boothesquirrel Well they're asking it because sex from a female perspective is obscure, and so they ask for an audience that's interested in hearing it. Being men, thinking like one, and surrounded by them, it would pique such a question.
Also I think they talk about fucking more than enough when dudes are in studio anyway. i.e. Every Jim Jeffries appearance ever.
FUCK LOUIS CK GUYS THE NEXT GUY WE SHOULD RALLY BEHIND IS UM....DOUG STANHOPE, YEAH BECAUSE YOU CAN'T LIKE TWO GUYS, FUCK LOUIS CK LET'S LIKE DOUG STANHOPE UNTIL HE BECOMES MORE FAMOUS!
knew this would happen when louie became more famous. people would start shitting on him because there's more of a light shone on him. you're right, he has complete delusions of grandeur which is why in a recent O&A appearance and his beacon special had him talk about how he knows this fame is temporary and it'll go away within a year or two. YEAH FUCK LOUIS CK HE'S FAMOUS NOW.
So what the fuck makes Rich Vos funny? His material is fucking awful because he is dumb as shit. i don't understand people that are anti alt comedy but like Rich Vos.
Louis stand up is great, but his show is not so much. He ain't Larry David that's for sure. I hope they wouldn't waste so much time talking about that lame depressing mess with lazy writing and shitty actors.
Love Louis, easily my favourite stand up of the moment and his Louie show is something to be proud of but he's getting really fucking egotistical. Obviously sitting next to Vos has got to boost your self esteem a little (just by knowing that you're not him is a plus) but Louis just talks endlessly about himself like he's this precocious visionary.Too much time spent with Ricky Gervais perhaps.
@marcmischief There are people far more brilliant at what they do than Louis CK, and many of them don't feel the need to remind everyone so extensively of how brilliant they are. Your work should speak for itself, and in Louis' case it does so why bother blowing your own trumpet?
@hippotoast That's cause brilliant people have the excuse to talk about how brilliant their work is. Obviously, you don't and won't understand any of that. Louis barely plugs any of his shit anyway when he's on big time talk shows like Letterman and especially on O&A. His whole success is based on how he talks about his life. Stop acting like a pretentious cunt.
@marcsman229 When O&A had George fucking Carlin on did he just talk about himself for the entire show? How about you investigate that one for yourself you dumb twat.
@hippotoast What the fuck does George Carlin have to do with any of this? Moron... And who the fuck compares past and present interviews? You sound like a deranged fan. Hell, for all we know, you want to rape Louis CK's arsehole. Contrasting early appearances to new ones? Who the fuck does that? Are you too much of a loser to do anything relevant with your fucked up life that you compare interviews of one person?
Obviously, your mother's a cunt for tolerating your constant bitching
When I'm talking about contrasting CK's O&A appearances do you actually think I'm actually sitting down with a pen and paper and jotting down differences in his persona? Are you really that fucking stupid? I didn't make a deliberate attempt to contrast the shows it's just that I have this CRAZY ability to determine whether one thing is different from an other. You should euthanized for being that dumb. Bring back eugenics.
@hippotoast oooooh "bring back eugenics" jesus christ. only 16 year old pretentious hipsters say shit like that so that people would consider them "intellectuals." Yeah, maybe you do. How the fuck should I know since you constantly BITCH about how Louis "changed." I dare you to call in on the show and say that shit to them. You know what they'd think of you? Yeah, I thought so... now go act like a faggot somewhere else, monkey.
@marcsman229 Hipster's attend fondue making classes and read Sherlock Holmes novels whilst sitting cross legged, I just have a basic high school education in modern history.
@hippotoast "Louie's 43rd studio appearance" - He's been on the show forever, he always jumps right on board with the topic of conversation whenever he comes in, barely ever plugs his shit and is always incredibly insightful and immensely funny. He's over the moon excited about his new project that he built from scratch and invested a ton in, but after all he's contributed to the show over the years he's not allowed to plug his new special? Dude, c'mon. Let him be proud of himself.
@hippotoast louis ck always talks about himself. listen to his marc maron interview, he talks about how he and marc maron had a conversation where marc said that he doesnt like hanging out with louis because its always all about him. dino stampolampus said something to a similar effect in his marc maron interview. he hasnt BECOME egotisical, thats just his personality
@dcyb1 glad someone else picked up on that, sometimes i wish he would talk about other suff than himself, but its whatever, hes still funny when he talks about himself
@dcyb1 It's definitely got worse. Contrast his early appearances with the time he was on with Gervais and Mohr, the show after that one and then this one and you'll notice a huge difference.
@hippotoast - I agree. I love Louis, but he can be a bit full of himself. Like during the first show back since Patrice died, and Louis was saying how he wished he'd made Patrice go for walks, and how he wished he'd "helped" Giraldo, by going to the movies with him, so that Giraldo wouldn't do coke. It was such a ridiculous thing to say, that Norton quickly ripped Louis, by saying how pompous it was to think that Louis' magnetic personality could have swayed these guys away from their vices.
@LongLiveOx Yeah, I feel the same vibe coming from Louis. He clearly has delusions of grandeur now, but so far he does a good job of hiding them behind this "I'm the most honest guy in the room" mask. His honesty in saying screwed up things, on closer inspection isn't very honest at all. I am starting to see Louis, as a person, in a bit of a different light now with fame hitting. He is an awesome stand-up, but I sense he's full of shit in a way.
@LongLiveOx People say dumb shit all the time, and who knows, maybe he's right. We don't know what kind of relationship or pull he had with them. I agree, the great thing about O and A is that there is always someone there to scrutinize in a funny, interesting way.
@LongLiveOx Have you listened to the new NPR fresh air episode with Louis Ck? He breaks down about Patrice. I think you misinterpreted what he meant as being pompous when it was really just a guy missing his friends of about 20 years and wishing he had done more or thinking what he could have done differently to help his friends.
@LongLiveOx Strange to find that arrogant. I don't think that has anything to do with arrogance; I think CK was merely weighing what he was doing compared what he could've been doing to help these people avoid their deaths. And feels, perhaps, that he didn't do enough.
I doubt Jimmy's response was an effort to "rip" CK, either. Simply to clarify that vices come from a larger, more inherent problem that mere walks and movies can't solve. The thought's nice, but may not have been enough.
Like the person below mentioned, you really should check out the NPR interview. Sheds a bit of light on how he felt about Patrice. I don't actually know Louis, so I can't quite say what he's like in real life. But judging his personality on his O&A appearances isn't exactly the best idea. This is an entertainment show, so they all put on some sort of mask.
Like the person below mentioned, you really should check out the NPR interview. Sheds a bit of light on how he felt about Patrice. @LongLiveOx when somebody dies unnecessarily you wish you could have done something. the guy is always self deprecating so i don't get the impression hes full of himself. why do you have to be so negative about a guy wishing he had done something for his dead friends? to say hes full of himself for thinking he could have helped is such a shitty thing to say.
@LongLiveOx dude, come on, two of his friends die and, as a friend, he feels bad, he's sad, he's wishing they were still around.. you never had ppl close to you die? You do tend to feel like since you were their friend that you could have done something, offered support or something. It's part of the grieving and part of going thru the events and coming to terms with them.
@LongLiveOx they arent strangers hes talking about. hes talking about people he probably DID have a "magnetic sway" on because they were his friends. you know, friends? you know what friends are right? what? oh... well sorry. i wish i took walks with you more so you didnt shoot yourself in the face at this realization
@eviltube1111 - LOL, well why don't you tell that to Norton, since he's the one who said that Louis was a moron for thinking that a trip to the movies could have turned Giraldo off of coke, or that Patrice wouldn't have told Louis to fuck off, if he showed up at his house to go for a walk. I'm merely agreeing with what Norton said, and Norton was closer to Patrice than Louis was. It amazes me how dummies such as yourself get their panties in a bunch over someone stating an opinion.
@LongLiveOx jimmy says a lot of dumb crap from time to time. i'm not going to tell it to him because i dont care enough to do more than write a couple comments. my panties arent in a bunch im not even remotely mad im drinking a coffee and relaxing. in fact i think its just hot air what we say because neither of us know the guys and we just picked one of their stories and defended it for some reason
@LongLiveOx i'm not louis c.k. but all i think he meany was he wished he could've done something to stop them from dying. I don't think he meant he was superman or some kind of hero.
@LongLiveOx I think it's just his way of coping with a friends death, because Geraldo AND Patrice where really close friends of his. Comedians have a dark way of making themselves feel ok with death.
@LongLiveOx A bit full of himself? He's plugging a special that he went to the trouble of making, producing and editing himself so you could buy it for just five bucks, and he's talking about how to lower prices for tickets so you can see him for cheaper and doing it through his own site so you dont get ripped off by people like Ticketmaster....
@LongLiveOx Louie is about as humble as the fuckin Orson Welles of comedy can be. He's the Woody Allen of our time-- he knows some shit, and he also manages to be self-depricating fairly often. He could be a much bigger prick, easily, and I wouldn't blame him. It annoys me when someone awesome becomes successful and morons think it makes them look good to find reasons to bash them. Louie was great when he was writing for Conan, and has only gotten better. I hope he doesn't hold back.
@hippotoast I couldn't have said it better. Both Ricky and him are too full of themselves for their own good. I wonder if it's a "fat people becoming famous" thing?
@turner45555 Yes. But that usually requires everyone in the room to not ask about what he's doing. It doesn't happen often, though, because he's so original, talented and prolific in the world of comedy, every time he's in there everyone wants to know what he's up to.
@GibsonsForLife welcome to the party. Did anyone tell you about the YouTube o and a fan suicide pact? Were cashing in if Steve gets booted..God forbid.
thepiratebay . org/torrent/6886309/Louis.C.K.-.Live.at.the.Beacon.Theatre.2011.Webrip.X264.AC3.CrEw register and leave the guy who made this torrent a bad comment...wtf its only 5 dollars just buy the shit
Does anyone else find Vos to be incredibly annoying? I hate it when he's on the show. Too bad Jimmy wasn't in. I love it when Jim and Louis on both there together. Thanks for posting yet another Louis O&A appearance!!
@georginiou it's definitely no on there. I guess Louie isn't aware that stuff on iTunes isn't automatically available in all iTunes stores in all countries.
@suction Type Louie series 2 iTunes into Google, and it brings up a page for them, but if you search in iTunes it isn't there. That will probably cost Louie thousands of dollars! $20 for all the episodes.
@georginiou Holy crap, you're right. I never knew iTunes had this kind of "hidden" content. What else might be there. It truly sucks for artists when they say their content is on iTunes and most people won't be able to find it.
@suction I just tried to buy series 2 of Louis's show on iTunes, and it didn't work. Apparently you can't buy that stuff unless you're in the United States. Pretty annoying, so, Louis is wrong, you can't buy them iTunes. This is why piracy happens, because I ready to buy the show, and I couldn't. The only way I can watch that show legally is to wait until it is sold on DVD, but series 1 of Louie isn't even out on DVD yet. I might just download them, then buy them officially whenever.
@Zackathor Not on Region 2, which means people in England won't be able to watch it unless they spend a lot of money on a multi region dvd player. I have patience, but it could be as long as three years until they release it on DVD, if at all.
You know its Bad when Rich Vos get laughs...I feel bad for Erock lmao...If Vos is making fun of you, thats a Low point in life....that's as close to rock bottom as you can get with out overdosing...
@ParkLeeNa he's funny differently on the radio than on stage...on stage, he kills and is awesome, but the radio, he's a dumb idiot that's great fodder for everyone else...
interesting what Louie said about the show being on itunes, the tv-show option on itunes is actually not available in european countries. i have to torrent shit because its the only option i have. altough i buy the dvds when they come out. but they are sitting on a shelf in the factory wrapping since they dont play on faggy european dvd players. Your promoting the shit outa Louie. i think his comments are aimed at the cunts that put up the whole specials and shit. ugh, what a shit comment. cunt!
I'm buying the video now. It feels good to give him money. When i saw him live in Sydney he made a joke about everyone illegally downloading 'Louie'. Ironically enough we get the show on cable here so i watched all of season 1 legally.
@claimmedead Yeah, it's in the playlist. Some black guy named Patrice died, so they had a whole bunch of comedians in to make fun of him because he's all dead and stuff
Keep in mind that you Actually don't need to make a paypal account or that shit, as long as you have a credit card you can do a 1-time-thing with them.
Paypal is just a gateway. Like the card machines in the store. You don't have to be a member to pay at a store, likewise you don't need to be a member on paypal. You just type in your details and they process your payment.
this was a pretty good one, i just wish bob kelly and jimmy were in studio for this one, especially after bobby got mad on the phone on the patrice rip show
some interesting commentary imo on piracy and people uploading the special to promote their stupid shit. I've never really done that with these, I guess I'm not smart or something. I just like to read your dumb comments and take my laptop into the bathroom and have something funny to listen to when I'm taking an edge-of-my-seat painful shit. Love, your pal Steve
@omgwtfitssteve i agree on that, i don't use torrents at all and i would have uploaded louies special to youtube if it was nearly anyone else but it was only 5$ so i kept it to myself and he wrote a blurb about torrents.
@omgwtfitssteve Yeah and also I think it's a common sentiment in people that they want to share something they love with the rest of the world. That's like 99% or 99,5% if you want to be precise about it of wall post on facebook. I think even more people should discover louis ck on O&A like I did so I am always glad to see your video views go up ( or down by ross's logic )
Louie is so respected as a comic his bombs are never called out.

@LongLiveOx they arent strangers hes talking about. hes talking about people he probably DID have a "magnetic sway" on because they were his friends. you know, friends? you know what friends are right? what? oh... well sorry. i wish i took walks with you more so you didnt shoot yourself in the face at this realization
eviltube1111 1 month ago
@eviltube1111 - LOL, well why don't you tell that to Norton, since he's the one who said that Louis was a moron for thinking that a trip to the movies could have turned Giraldo off of coke, or that Patrice wouldn't have told Louis to fuck off, if he showed up at his house to go for a walk. I'm merely agreeing with what Norton said, and Norton was closer to Patrice than Louis was. It amazes me how dummies such as yourself get their panties in a bunch over someone stating an opinion.
LongLiveOx 1 month ago
@LongLiveOx jimmy says a lot of dumb crap from time to time. i'm not going to tell it to him because i dont care enough to do more than write a couple comments. my panties arent in a bunch im not even remotely mad im drinking a coffee and relaxing. in fact i think its just hot air what we say because neither of us know the guys and we just picked one of their stories and defended it for some reason
eviltube1111 1 month ago
@LongLiveOx i'm not louis c.k. but all i think he meany was he wished he could've done something to stop them from dying. I don't think he meant he was superman or some kind of hero.
trock151 1 month ago
@LongLiveOx I think it's just his way of coping with a friends death, because Geraldo AND Patrice where really close friends of his. Comedians have a dark way of making themselves feel ok with death.
MyPinkElephants 1 month ago
@LongLiveOx A bit full of himself? He's plugging a special that he went to the trouble of making, producing and editing himself so you could buy it for just five bucks, and he's talking about how to lower prices for tickets so you can see him for cheaper and doing it through his own site so you dont get ripped off by people like Ticketmaster....
How blatantly self fucking centred of him.
moonsugar1 1 month ago in playlist Louis CK on O&A 14
@moonsugar1 as it turned out he gave away over half a million dollars to all those involved in the project with him.

I'm in England, and I tried to buy series 2 of Louie on iTunes only yesterday and I couldn't even find it.
georginiou 2 months ago
@georginiou it's definitely no on there. I guess Louie isn't aware that stuff on iTunes isn't automatically available in all iTunes stores in all countries.
suction 2 months ago
@suction Type Louie series 2 iTunes into Google, and it brings up a page for them, but if you search in iTunes it isn't there. That will probably cost Louie thousands of dollars! $20 for all the episodes.
georginiou 2 months ago
@georginiou Holy crap, you're right. I never knew iTunes had this kind of "hidden" content. What else might be there. It truly sucks for artists when they say their content is on iTunes and most people won't be able to find it.
suction 2 months ago
@suction I just tried to buy series 2 of Louis's show on iTunes, and it didn't work. Apparently you can't buy that stuff unless you're in the United States. Pretty annoying, so, Louis is wrong, you can't buy them iTunes. This is why piracy happens, because I ready to buy the show, and I couldn't. The only way I can watch that show legally is to wait until it is sold on DVD, but series 1 of Louie isn't even out on DVD yet. I might just download them, then buy them officially whenever.
georginiou 2 months ago
@georginiou season 1 is on dvd/blue ray, it has been for over a year, look it up, and have some patience.
Zackathor 2 months ago
@Zackathor Not on Region 2, which means people in England won't be able to watch it unless they spend a lot of money on a multi region dvd player. I have patience, but it could be as long as three years until they release it on DVD, if at all.

interesting what Louie said about the show being on itunes, the tv-show option on itunes is actually not available in european countries. i have to torrent shit because its the only option i have. altough i buy the dvds when they come out. but they are sitting on a shelf in the factory wrapping since they dont play on faggy european dvd players. Your promoting the shit outa Louie. i think his comments are aimed at the cunts that put up the whole specials and shit. ugh, what a shit comment. cunt!

@boothesquirrel
Paypal is just a gateway. Like the card machines in the store. You don't have to be a member to pay at a store, likewise you don't need to be a member on paypal. You just type in your details and they process your payment.

@omgwtfitssteve i agree on that, i don't use torrents at all and i would have uploaded louies special to youtube if it was nearly anyone else but it was only 5$ so i kept it to myself and he wrote a blurb about torrents.
