3) Local and state law enforcment cannot legally enforce laws or regulations on the CB radio because it is not their jurisidction. I know this from being in criminal justice

However, since CB is regulated solely by the FCC, local law enforcement has no authority over it. The FCC has granted (under PL 106-521) limited local enforcement of illegal radio equipment (export radios, linears, etc), but doesn't address legal CB radios or what is said on a radio.
Next time ask for a badge number and tell him to contact the FCC for the CORRECT rules and regulations regarding CB radio communication. Sorry if the Potato state bears have nothing else better to do....that or its some trucker trying to scare you. If it isn't on channel nine....he is SOL!
They use cb in iowa..LOL..we were sitting in my moms Surburban and messing with it and talking to my friend on his 2 way radio and he was standing on the street corner and all of a sudden we hear swing left swings riget and all this crap and we hear go under the bridge and swing a right then a left and we look down the street and theres a Freaking cop..Dont think it was a coinsidence but i gues it could of been!!lol
