  • His first name says it all. Give it to him ed.

  • His first name says it all.

  • yo when can we fight this

  • I think Rep. Massa has constipation... of the brain.

  • we need to stand up already!!!!!!!!!!

  • Cheeny is a liar and cancer on America.

  • Since Dick endorses terrorism so much, perhaps he should consider strapping a bomb to his own chest. Then again, that probably wouldn't be such a great idea for him. He would probably miss his target (Obama) and hit the RNC or one of those "tea party" protests instead...

  • silly infantile scapegoatism, who gives a fuck about dick cheney, the new puppet just escalates afghanistan, has robbed the world of billions and is continueing the system that will allow it to happen again, who cares about fing dick cheney!!

  • what a farce, yeah truth to power, the power of a former vice presidents that really nobody likes, what a daring move -.-

  • Are you saying the former Vice does not have the ear of his party? Are you saying that their numbers are not significant enough to stall, hinder or end possible political actions taken by America?

  • if anything cheneys party is the government / presidency, even the republicans realize this, i missed the big republican shoutouts to cheney of the last two years, he is not the same kind of petty dogs like the remaining rep. "leaders", i think they are afraid of him or want him out of the game for good

oc id like to see him persecuted but i think that would gloss over the reality that he is just one of many criminals in an unchanged criminal system

  • Well, just to reply to your statement; Oreilly, Limbaugh, Palin, Beck, Malkin and others have mirrored his statements, so.

On your second point, yes very true. So what do we do about it (not the persecution part, that will never happen), do we give up on the Democratic process which has brought more peace & stability than any other system of governance to date? One idiot wants to go back to the horrors of Theocracy, remember the Inquisitions, 200 years of Crusades?

    What is your suggestion?

  • if there was a real democratic process the republicans would be a thing of the past, among other things its a plutocracy, democracy is a goal yet to be reached, becoming a modern social democracy like some of the european ones would be a first step

the most important thing would be to challenge the old propaganda paradigms grown out of militarism, religion and elitism, if not addressed thats the reserve demagogues can always come back to tap into

  • The fact the poor cannot get themselves together does not make the American system of government a non-democracy. The people still choose their representatives, that by definition is democratic.

The leaders of our Democratic Republic have learned how ignorant the population is. The average reading ability of the American adult is between 6th & 7th grade, this sentence is above that...

I would add education to the top your list of "most important things".

  • what a load of bull, sorry, but your leaders only had to learn that they would like to keep the power to themselves because they were rich - educated or not!

are the people uneducated because of the lacking system or is the system with lacking because they are uneducated, funny how you judge this with such ease, what was that about knowing what you dont know..

was it jefferson or payne: people can not govern themselves, but people can?

  • To your first statement, wtf?

To your question, the American public education system is geared to making the most subservient, worker possible. Only when a person is taught how to learn, can they succeed by any means other than luck, or talent (some people are not talented enough to become actors, but those that are receive the same benefit as the lucky).

I'm really not sure what the rest of your writings mean, but regardless, peace.

  • Elbow from the sky... Woesh!

  • Dick Cheney does not know basic the difference between right and wrong. Dick Cheney is a bottom feeding low life liar scumbag who has no Creditably, Cheney slashed taxes for multi-millionaires during a time of war, never done before, Cheney failed to Capture and Kill Bin Laden, and 9-11 happened under Cheney/Bush watch and Cheney/Bush did NOTHING to PREVENT That and America must never forget that, Especially at the Ballot Box!

  • fucking hell finally two people who make some goddamn sense.

  • AMEN !!!!

  • @cocobear33

FUCK BUSH AND DICK CHENEY AND THE ONES WHO BROUGHT THEM.

Almost? 2000 people died under gw watch, and another 3000 in iraq with no WMD since he wanted to revenge saddam trying to kill his daddy. he never played golf right?

Im not a democrat nor a republican, i'm the silent independent majority who spoke loud and clear last November you moron.

see its people like you who do wish for a terrorist attack and blood during obamas watch, so you can have political gain, U make me sick

  • @cocobear33 And Bush took six days to address the shoe bomber Richard Reid. And guess what, Bush was taking a MONTHLONG VACATION, twice as much as Obama took, right before 9/11, which, need I remind you, happened on Bush's watch AFTER he got the memo that "Bin Laden was determined to strike in the US."

  • good grief dumb and dumber , with all that's going on in this country the only thin msnbc has to talk about is cheney ,bush and palin, lol what a load of fools , lol i could care less what cheney says he's not pres obama is and obama is screwing this fucking country up

  • @cocobear33 The country was already F'D up by the Bush Adminstration before Obama got into office.

  • Cheney is a babbling fool. But Congress has spent the past 6 months fighting for health care reform. Not making air travel safer.

  • charge him on war crimes, that will shut him up.

we are no safer than we were on 9-10-01

  • @FlowerClown

we cant charge them, they passed a law giving themselves full immunity before they high tailed it out of washinton. they knew history would look back at them with disgust and as criminlas

    Fuck bush fuck cheney

  • Yes We Can! ( prosecute these criminals.) If we can't then the Internatonal Court can.

Dick Cheney is a war criminal. He has put people in positions of power that he knows are going to allow these terrorists to come to our country and do harm.

Dick Cheney is making this possible because he thinks it will help the Republican Party.

  • Dick Cheney's too anal to have Tourettes. SHIT..CUM BAG...ASS!.. 'scuse me. But I do agree..FART FACE, BALL LICKER!..sorry. I do agree it's gonna take time...SCROTUM HEAD, F F F FIX THE SHIT SCHMEG! Sorry I gotta go the next episode of...ERECTILE DISFUNCTION SHOW IS ON!

  • amen, brother!

  • And its great,to see some democrats responding like men. Debate you? ! cong massa, just kick his chicken ass

  • Cheney IS a coward! AGREED!

  • How about cheneys involvement in 9/11? the orders he gave, the lack of response and stand down. 9/11 was the biggest hoax of the 20th century government story=bullshit evidence=bullshit response=bullshit

nist report=bullshit 911 commission=bullshit cnn/hezrkan footage of impact wtc south poor quality cgi imagery obviously fake=bullshit pentagon=bullshit

impossible flight manuevers by unskilled pilot=bullshit no real investigation=bullshit bin laden=bullshit war on terror=bullshit

  • Didnt cheney suggest that america use its special forces in a false flag attack against their own troops so he can blame it on Iran and get support for his next criminal adventure?

  • Nope

  • F#CK THE NAZIRATS IN WASHINGTON.....

  • Dan Pfeiffer (WH communications officer) mentions the various things Obama said as proof of Obamas understanding we are at war. However, it was Obamas actions that Cheney had questioned i.e. Miranda rights, KSM, Gitmo, etc.

  • The WH has responded to Cheneys recent statement that Obama is trying to pretend there is no war on terror. Too bad the White House can't respond to terror attacks as quickly as they do to criticism by Dick Cheney. If they did, the administration wouldn't be in full panic mode now.

Of course the White House uses the ever-tiresome blame Bush tactic. Sweet Jesus, you would think by now they would be embarrassed to go back to that excuse once again.

  • They should just blow up the airport. It's too hard to get explosives on the plane! More people there anyway.

  • To out knowledge Dick Cheney hasn't shot any of his friends in the face with a shotgun in years. Or had the ranch hand give the press conference. lol

  • I can't think of anyone more irrelevant than Dick "Shoot First and ask Questions Later" Cheney.

  • dick cheney should be tried for war crimes

  • Funny you should mention the USS Cole. After the bombing Yemen rounded up 17 usual suspects, who all subsequently either "escaped" (where actually sanctioned kidnapping and the bribe/ransom was paid) or were let go when they were able to prove they weren't even in the country, etc....

  • Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri who masterminded the bombing WAS captured by Bush and tortured in some undisclosed location for four years.

His legal case is so tainted BY CHENEY STYLE JUSTICE that when Obama's AG looked into whether they could actually TRY him in the Federal Courts...charges were withdrawn without prejudice on February 5, 2009.

  • There is no reason to try this guy in federal courts. He is an enemy combatant and should be treated as such. Do you understand what torture actually is?

  • Why do you have to make this personal? Why does my experience with torture have to enter into a discussion of policy and ethics? Why do you need me to validate your argument? You are fishing for a visceral response. It's a cheap tactic.

As long as you are going there; What do YOU know about "enemy combatants"? Got any sand between your toes, buddy?

  • Hahahaha! You are the one that brought up torture so I was merely questioning what you consider torture. It would seem to me that this fits in nicely with ethics and and policy. Asking your an opinion has suddenly become a cheap tactic? I am not a "buddy".

  • G'damned right you're not my buddy, so be so advised. I don't appreciate personal attacks any more than you do, stranger. So, stick to your own opinions if you want, but I never injected mine in the first place.

  • What personal attack?? Sheesh - you surely are getting testy.

  • his name is Massa?

Bush/Cheney needs to be in prison for war crimes

  • it's about 8 months too late, but it's still nice to hear it

  • Im cheney!!! meh meh, meh meh meh, meh!!!!!

  • Ed Schultz at his best loll I love the way he calls him " 5 deferments Dick Cheney loll

  • And Schultz's military involvement was....

  • Massa and Ed, kicking ass.

    STFU cheney you fat pussy

  • the reason presidents put off addressing the questions (sharp-dressed man, no passport, wtc 7, etc.) is because it's not fun to go on the air and lie through their teeth for their corporate masters.

  • Political Tourette's, Great way of describing it.

  • The funny part is that every time Cheney wants to run out and criticize Obama he has to arrange to give a speech someplace at a moments notice. Usually the Heritage Foundation or AEI. I can just imagine the phone call.

Cheney: "I need to criticize Obama. Quick, organize a dinner for this evening."

HF: "Dammit Dick, YOU'RE paying for the food this time!"

    DC: "Fine!"

HF: "And we can only round up 10 people on such short notice."

DC: "Fine, just keep the camera on a tight shot on me!"

  • yay massa! Western NY!!

  • Dick Cheney spews shit and suffers from political diarrhea from the mouth ...I couldn´t have said it better my self

  • His name is Massa? Wow, that feels a bit racist somehow. :p

  • This administration does nothing but place blame. They need to man up and own what happens on their watch. With all the issues we have now this is all they do. bicker like little children. What a disgrace!!!

  • Should'nt be surprized. We put up with the same shit for 8 years with President Panty Sniffer, we put up with the 4 years of President Pea-Nut. It's the best reason I know of why we got to stay clear of RINOs.

  • "This" administration? Are you talking about the Obama administration or the Bush mal-administration?

  • This as in the Obama administration. Sorry for not being more clear. I just think instead pointing fingers just get the job done who cares how it came to pass. Its here fix it.

  • "This administration" has done no such thing, it's beneath Obama's dignity. However, there ARE alot of really pissed off people who do point fingers though. And I believe they are justifiably angry about what Bush/Cheney did to this country.

  • politicians will look you in the eye and lie. They have no issue doing so, no compasion. I cannot trust any of them. politicians or at least the majority are liers. They have lost site of what there job is. Both sides care nothing for us. They care only about power and money. Obama's administration is socializing this country. They point fingers to distract us from there real goals, that is stealing all our liberty and freedoms. Anyways have a great new year. Good luck, I wish you the best.

  • its about time they said this shit

  • double AMEN!

  • "Cheney was the greatest VP in modern times."

I would like to who your favorite VP was in all of American History?

    Nixon?

  • Probably Spiro Agnew.

Given that it's the VP's traditional job to be the administration mud slinger, and Nixon was probably the best mud slinger of all times when he was Eisenhower's VP, they must have had a hell of a time finding a VP for Nixon who would be petty enough to make Nixon look statesmanlike.

  • lol, well, my question was more of a trap question...

josh doesn't seen like the kind of person that would know that nixon was a VP.

  • @joshpnw --- your day pass is over.

  • What?! He help start two wars which he help screw up royally. He cut taxes in a time of war which always leads to massive debt. And 911 happened on his watch. Are you a moron?

  • josh is not an idiot but you are - unless you just play one on you tube.

Each time we have cut rates across the board, the U. S. Treasury collected more, not less, revenue.

The wars had congressional approval and were originally suggested by the Clinton administration.

9-11 was in the works long before Cheney became VP. Our weak response to other terrorists were met generally by silence or by a bomb run on an aspirin factory.

  • @jospnw - Cheney was the greatest VP? Which part did you like best - when he wiped his ass with the Constitution, or when he pushed lies to begin a war of choice that killed more Americans than 9/11?

  • Gosh, you would have loved Hitler and Mussolini.

  • you're going to hell.

  • Dick Cheney should be held accountable for the stuff he did while in office. The Same with G.W Bush the two of them are War Criminals and should be tried as War Criminals infront of the UN

  • I would love to kick Cheney in the nuts too but:

    1. UN is an impotent institution

    2. US justice system is perfectly capable of handling a piece of shit like Cheney.

  • "Dick Cheney should be held accountable for the stuff he did while in office."

Ironically, that's what this is about. As soon as the press found out that the underwear bomber attack was organized by Said Ali Shari, somebody that the BUSH ADMINISTRATION RELEASED back to Yemen in 2007, Cheney had to run out and make as much noise as possible to hopefully change the subject from the fact that HE released the guy who organized this to the outrage over the fact that he talks too much.

    It worked.

  • Awful lot of political pressure from the left also. But, that's beside the point.

  • The Valarie Plame affair was TREASON. If this was WWII, someone would have had their neck stretched.

  • Hahaha - This is so last year. Valerie Plame was first disclosed to Russia in the mid-1990s by a spy in Moscow. the CIA itself "inadvertently" compromised Plame by not taking appropriate measures to safeguard classified documents that the Agency routed to the Swiss embassy in Havana.

  • at the time of the Novak and Corn articles, Plame was not serving as an intelligence agent outside the United States. Instead, she had for years been working, for all to see, at CIA headquarters in Langley. Did her assignment to headquarters have anything to do with her effectiveness as a covert agent having already been nullified by disclosure to the Russians and the Cubans?

  • could it be that Plame's cover has long been blown explain why the CIA was unconcerned about assigning a one-time covert agent to a job that had her walking in and out of CIA headquarters every day? Could it explain why the Wilsons were indiscrete to pose in Vanity Fair and to permit Joe Wilson to pen an op-ed regarding a sensitive mission to which his wife, the covert agent, advocated his assignment? Did they fail precautions because they knew there really was nothing left to protect?

  • I'm sick of this bombastic partisanship. Republicans and Democrats both need to shut the fuck up and start working for the good of the country, not working for the good of one political party or the other.

  • Yeah, because trying to be bipartisan has worked so well for Obama! The GOP won't have it.

  • Maybe because the Great Won do not try to include Republicans in anything.

  • Fuck the Republicans. The Problem is that we are trying to include them too much. Republicanism is a failed ideology. Aw shucks moron populism will be the death of this country if it is allowed to continue be given a place at the table.

  • Are you suggesting that we should be a one party country? Obviously, there are a lot of differing opinions "out there". (i.e 66% of U.S. voters prefer a smaller government with fewer services and lower taxes 22% prefer a government with more services and higher taxes. 11% aren't sure. Why would you think that Dem ideas are better than Rep? Look what's happened to the country in the past year under nearly a complete Dem gov't., Are you better off now than a year ago?

  • Yeah, mcv, as a matter of fact, I am hugely better off that a year ago. My 401k has rebounded from the disaster created by the previous administration, my wife is seeing more money in her paycheck, we're on the road of breaking the stranglehold that one industry (health insurance) has on businesses large and small, and I'm living in a country with leadership that realizes that they don't "hate us for our freedom" - they hate us for how we've treated them.

  • 47f0 - Perhaps you missed the coming ObamaCare stranglehold:The Mayo Clinic, praised as a model for efficient care, will stop accepting Medicare patients as of tomorrow at one of its primary-care clinics in Arizona saying the U.S. government pays too little. Mayos move to drop Medicare patients may be copied by family doctors, some of whom have already stopped accepting new patients.Mayo lost $840 million in 2009 on Medicare, (health prog for the disabled and those over 65.)

  • Excuse me, mcv47 - health care? The only bipartisanship the GOP offered was to demand that the bill jettison everything the Democrats wanted, and only include what Republicans wanted - which was essentially nothing. And then they voted as a bloc against it. Yeah, they're trying REALLY hard on the whole give and take thing!

  • If I am not mistaken, Reps offered around 115 amendments (you know, the things that are ADDED to an already existing bill?) which were ALL summarily tossed out. Reps were locked out of the negotiations as in "the democrats lock them out of the meetings so they can't be in on the decisions and then they lock them out of the room so they can't meet?"

Reform could be such an easy matter. It shouldn't take 2000+ pages and bribery to have reform. Dems want gov't takeover - not reform.

  • @wnnw98 AMEN!

  • The disaster that was created back when Dems REFUSED to put any regulations Freddie and Fannie and denied there was a problem related to their home loaning procedures? Or. the disaster when Dems took over Congress in 2006 and tripled the national debt. Health care needs reform - not a complete overhaul and, I for one, don't believe the gov't should be involved in health care. As for why we're hated - read the koran.

  • @mcv47 I agree. Happy New Year!

  • TY and Happy New Year back at ya. Hopefully this one will be better than the last one.
