A rumor more than likely started and propagated BY the people at the top. The mechanism that keeps the global slave state going is (care to guess) => slaves. And nothing makes the global slavemasters happier than the site of billions of slaves willing to work for a dollar a day. So this idea that they would cull the earth is complete nonsense. It's entirely against their interest to match the number of people to the earth's carrying capacity. Overpopulation serves their interests.

I agree with you there, It's so hard to know what is really the truth from all the rumors, but I got to say things are so not right in our world in a very big way. I was thinking though, if there was a tipping point on losing our planet due to over population, they would thin us out to keep our planet alive and also enough to keep them happy as they do not want perish

The problem is TPTB don't give a damn about the planet. It could burn to the ground and they could care less. All they care about is mining and stripping every resource from the earth and converting it all to profit. You have to put yourself in their mindset and think the way they think. These are people with no soul, no humanity, no conscience, and very little intelligence. They can't think or imagine. They are like the Hitchhiker's Guide Vogon Destructor Fleet, only from Earth.

That said, nature may grow weary of this species that only wants to consume more more more. The earth may finally reach a point where it's had enough and decides to cull the species, e.g., strange, new viruses could wipe out large chunks of humanity. That I could see, and it may even already be happening in Africa where AIDS has wiped out whole villages.

@DeathNeeds Cancer is far worse than AIDS in many cases. of course AIDS is bad but its avoidable by not having sex or using condoms

Cancer is not as easily preventabe in addition, AIDS is not a sickness caused by Nature but by scientists who were trying to find a cure for Cancer

Until someone dies because of AIDS it takes a While

Africa is a bad example since people there have a low life expectancyd so just because they die doesnt mean they died because of the AIDS they had

Humanity has gotten off the path and have gotten so far away from living in harmony with the planet that I believe we can not save ourselves now. And believe even if we started off years ago with thinking ahead and living in harmony with the planet could we survive for ever on earth anyways with always having an always increasing population?

This was a great series. I've watched all 9 episodes in a few sittings late at night. The music is wonderful. The multimedia production was superb. Yes, I agree with hollaboots that it's ashame more people haven't watched this. Only 816 views on Oct. 19, 2009. We are all so greedy in our own little ways and change of habit is not something we ever like to do. I hope we have some great solutions to this with great new leaps in technology and use of it soon.
