I was in one when we spun out on the highway smashing off a guard rail into the side of a semi and was sucked under the back wheels....by far the safest car i've been in...airbags didn't deploy though which was frightening.

watch the video 'Mazda 3 mps crash Alex ', the car's safety cell was breached all the way inside after a side impact, if there had been a front passenger, theyd have been killed no doubt, just watch the vid, then you'll know that ncap is probably a con job

just got one this week. Great car that offers many cool features for cheap and doesnt feel slow at all. Many people think this is an ugly car, many think it looks sharp, its really a polarizing look but everyone has an opinion. It looks tight to me.

My last car was an 08' altima, which had a 2.5 a pushed 170hp, this has a 2.0 pushes 158hp. I really expected their to be much more of a drop off since I was taking a step down in size and power but this little mazda really has me pleased so far.

I currently have a 2010 MAZDA3s GT 5-door and before that I had a 2006 MAZDA3s GT 5-door. While the first generation had better styling IMHO, the new one is more than 2x the car compared to the 1st. Glad to see the new one aced the IIHS tests!
