  • a little swing IS part of muscle ups

    but u were swinging alot, u shoud stop abit over the bar and do a dip push up, u swing all the way to the top .

    I've seen some people who do them really slow, with no swinging/ kipping and strict form. I can't do them, but apparently it's quite a bit harder than a muscle up with even a tiny bit of swing or kip.

  • is this some kind a circus or training? too much swinging...

  • Crossfit does train to be explosive, but also controlled. I can do muscleups on both bars and rings with no kip or swing. However since this was after a workout and I initially attempted to do 30 as fast as possible I pretty much had to use the kip.

    Ive been meaning to post more vids up but havent had my camera lately. Ill try to get some on the rings with no kip posted sometime this weekend.

  • nice work. Crossfit trains explosive only? like i see u guys swing really hard, not that its bad or anything.
