It's a shame Kitty went out of buisness in the 90's thus ending any way to conclude Ranma like the manga. Man I remember getting season 1 tapes from viz (The only way to watch Ranma in English in America) and loving it, then as I grew older I had forgotten it. I just recently picked it back up and watched all the episodes. I am sad but at least I got the movies and OAV's left to watch!

What I found odd is why cant Takahashi Rumiko continue on the series with Sunrise. We deserve at least the Kumon Ryu arc, Akari and Konatsu story, as well as the Nodoka's discovery all in an OVA and the Musk Dynasty arc and the final arc in movie form ^_^

@AweZumosityGirl Although I completely love Ranma for not becoming a Naruto, I have to say that the reason Ranma isn't like Naruto is because the story in Naruto has more goals, while Ranma is like a gigantic island with a thousand ways to branch out... But in that respect I prefer Ranma.

the ending of ranma in the anime is way different from the manga.

ranma met up with his mother, nodoka, something like that. i can't remember the full story anymore. look it up in wikipedia if you want. just search: "list of ranma 1/2 episodes".

bottom line: the anime ending just left me hanging. i was like---what's next then? there were OVAs later on, but they weren't endings at all.

in the manga, ranma and akane got married. i dunno if ranma managed to get rid of his girl side though. hope not

Ranma and Akane didn't actually get married since the ceremony was trashed by the fiancees and rivals and yeah the girl side stays with Ranma as he and Akane ran into the sunset.

Yeah, it sad the anime was never finished. It only made it half way through. I'm thankful I got the chance to find the manga online and find out the ending.

I would've prefered Uchan to get Ranma than Akane. Considering she isn't as mean as Akane or as manipulative as Shampoo.

(Though Shampoo is my favorite. Rawr)

The anime was never finished. . .I can't put it any other way than that. If you'd read the manga you'd see that the final arc of the story involved Ranma dealing with the phoenix tribe.

They never made it that far. I think the last episode they made was Ranma dealing with his mother and then the movies. . .but thats it.
