Speaking generally, I liked Frasier a lot (and am watching many episodes on youtube), but the plot lines with him being a complete idiot with women were probably my least favorite. They always seemed so contradictory to his general persona, where many times he IS a complete idiot, but not in such a shallow way.

@asalmog It's as if the writers couldn't think of any other way for him to remain a bachelor. Or maybe they just always want the viewers to ask themselves each time Frasier meets a woman, "How's he gonna screw this up?" I guess we should ask ourselves the same question at the end of the last episode of the last season! (I also don't favor the "complete idiot with women" plot lines.. Especially the totally contrived get rid of Claire episodes.)
