  • Good song except the vocal effect ruins it

  • If this song doesn't make your heart sing, you are officially dead.

  • you can really see the influence from Pink Floyd in this album... it really shows how much doing a cover of Dark Side of the Moon really changed their music style, if they ever really had a style to begin :D

  • @afatpenguin they did the cover of Dark Side AFTER recording this album.

  • @afatpenguin they've been making barrett-era floyd inspired tunes for 30 years

  • Very late sixtees, Miles Davis-ish goodness here.

  • I am convinced that this song was sent into space by Wayne Cohen's special rocket ship and then mixed by aliens while they were simulanteously tripping acid and fucking the shit out of each other.

    -with love, Sean.

  • am gonna remix this

  • This is so sexy...

  • kwasgamer says, 'smoke weed to the flaming lips'!

  • @kwasgamer1 So does Wayne Coyne...he demanded it at the last FLips show I was at in Houston

  • @chesa311 i saw them in october in st pete at jannus landing, and wayne encouraged everyone to smoke a joint

  • @kwasgamer1 caps are better to this...

  • This new album makes me wish I still smoked grass. Which reminds me, please vote to legalize marijuana. Fuck Richard Nixon.

  • Fuck you Billy Clint; coz you begged for people to assist your cause, I'm gonna vote nay, just to spite you.

  • thats better.

  • Sounds like you were havin a bit of a difficult trip man :p

  • This is beautiful. It reminds me a little of "Feeling Yourself Disintegrate"

  • i gotta smoke a joint to this

  • dude use a gravity you get some much more for less.

  • amen brother except im gonna smoke 7 bowls from my glass spoon and 2 blunts

  • I am anxious to see them live again too. Unfortunately the only time Ive seen them live was at Bonnaroo and the crowd was horrible, not too mention huge (The shitty Police only played for an hour so people came to the Lips who were not fans) but Wayne kept babbling on about the Iraq War for like ten minutes b/w each song. That show sucked but the Lips rock

  • what year was that?

  • Summer of 2007. I guess I just did not dig the show but that also is because I was in a bad area to watch it. However, that whole festival was full of artists who were compaining about the War and it is getting old.

  • I don't know what you're talking about. The Bonnaroo show was incredible. And, I don't understand why you're angry that people who "weren't fans" went to see the lips. Thats how people become fans--they go see them play. I've seen them three times(Bonnaroo, Pitchfork, and Festival Pier), and the Bonnaroo show was the best one.

  • Well you must have been a lot closer to the stage than I, so from your perspective it probably was a good show. My argument about the "non fans" is that the Police only played for an hour---and people filtered to the Lips stage from the Police show. Many (1000's) of those people would not have been there is the Police played for the normal 2 hours. So I blame the shitty, over rated Police for screwing up my experience of the Lips show.

  • I was at that show and it was awesome, though Wayne did go on about Iraq for a while. I didn't care though, I had a great time with the crowd. Did you get some bunk doses or something? =op

  • I wonder if their touring with Black Moth Super Rainbow had any influence on this song.

  • They toured with Black Moth Super Rainbow?!? Man, I've missed many an amazing concert. :/

  • They are playing in Birmingham (UK) In November and there are still tickets left.

Has the whole world lost it's marbles?

Everyone should see the Lips before they die!

  • Maybe now they'll start touring around here again. Can't wait.

  • I hope they come to the midwest, I haven't seen them since 2003.

  • I was lucky enough to see them at 80/35 fest in des moines last 4th of July. wish you could've been there! best show of my life. hands down.

  • Right on! I swear it was the closest thing to a religeous experience I've had. It's like the whole crowd are really in tune with the band and it's just a total happening.

  • you know shelly, people who have never been to a Lips show probably think we're exagerating a bit, but you're right on the money. I literally felt it as a religious experience as well. there were actually people in front of us raising both hands to the sky (and stage) like you see on those televangalist shows. it was just incredible. it was moving.

  • +1 Could not agree more

  • hahahaha

  • Awesome Stuff! i love it

  • Two Words : CANNOT WAIT
