Why do Catholics never ask why their church never excommunicated all the German Catholics who directed the Jewish Holocaust, i.e. Adolf Hitler, Heinrich Himmler, Josef Goebbels, Reinhard Heydrich, Rudolf Hoess, Julius Streicher, Fritz Thyssen, Klaus Barbie, and Franz Von Papen were all well-known Roman Catholics as were
all of these heads of other Nazi states: Degrelle of Belgium, Pavelic of Croatia. Laval & Petain of Vichy-France, Fr. Josef Tiso of Slovakia. Google "NaziLeadership" for MORE!
Probably due to fear of previous violence against the church in Europe from military and political scientists. Ob'edinennoe Gosudarstvennoe Politicheskoe Upravlenie (OGPU), the Soviet government's arm for the persecution of the Russian Orthodox Church, the Greek Catholics, the Latin Catholics, Islam and other religious organizations (with the exception of Judaism), an operation headed by Yevgeny Tuchkov, in Russian (1892 - 1957) was the head of the anti-religious arm of the Soviet OGPU.
Of those listed, only Von Papen could be described as a practicing Catholic. The Nazi inner-circle was in fact very anti-Christian.
