One of the biggest problems with the Holy Bible is the fact that it contradicts itself regularly. For example, as saying," Love your neighbor" can get thrown right out the window, whenever the Bible makes a reference to God, finding it acceptable, to kill someone.
Notice all of these "predictions" are found after the fact. When/if you can find predictions in the text of things that have not occurred yet and are later found to come true, THEN you may be on to something.
What good is it to find predictions about things that have already occurred?

The same could be said about the laws of nature; Equations about how our planet attracts to the Sun and other planets (Universal Law of Gravitation ) is not engraved on stones,trees,animals for us to see. Yet,the laws somehow exist and govern our Solar System and Universe. So, "God"-nature does hide things.

If this book is correct then inserting the Bible code into the Bible would be a natural thing for God to do.
The book did explain Hitler, predicted the recent UK riots, crime among blacks, and flash mobs in the USA. Even explained why there were Mulsim suicide bombers.

Here you have to go back and take all the scripture into hand not just 1 verse. Back in verse 12 it says,"The rain fell upon the earth for forty days and forty nights."
It rained for 40 days & 40 nights. Look in verse 17 how it says the water increased and lifted up the ark. Water increasing comes from rain so we look back to verse 12 and take the whole context.

Why would god put a warning of the coming to power of Hitler in a convoluted code? Why not blatantly say something along the lines of "Hey, a man named 'Adolf Hitler' will rise to power in the country of Germany in January of 1933 (in accordance to your newfangled 'Gregorian' calender). He will deceive you and kill millions of innocent people. Do not trust this dick."

When sequence checking, for every 1 instance where 2-3 words found together relate to a real, documented event, there would be MILLIONS, if not BILLIONS of incorrect or rubbish word sequences that make no sense. The best argument for the Bible code that I see is that Michael Drosnin found a message in the Bible code which told that a man ( Yitzak ) would die a few years later, and he did ( 0:28 ). I don't think that the chance of a man with just the right name and died (and in the predicted year) just as the Bible code said would be not be very good if it not was put there by an intelligence. The code at 4:59 has a larger probability to be put there by chance because it is not giving any specific year.

The bible LITERALLY says that it's ok to own a slave and that it's OK to beat your slave! Disobedient children should be stoned to death and daughters should be sold to slavery. There is substantial archeological evidence that Jesus was not the only self-proclaimed "son of god". Actually, at the time, there was a PLAGUE of these people who also claimed to be able to heal people, blah blah blah.
Taking the bible literally is like denying gravity. After all, gravity and evolution are both scientific theories.

I remember the Assemby of God church where I was saved in the 70's passing out literature about this. I was totally convinced ( so much so that it scared me) especially when they told me that Jesus was coming within 40 years of the Jewish state renewal, and that we were facing the end of the world.
If only I could have seen this, back then, I and my freinds would have buckled down in school and gone to college in our 20's. Religeon rips people off.

Why do we find these codes only after they happend, God being able to predict would not of put them in the bible becuase he obviouisly knew that we wouldn't be able to stop these events from happening... It's meerly coincidental, im sure you could find a verse in the bible that could be re-arranged to spell: Y-O-U A-R-E G-A-Y.

I have nothing against the Jewish faith, but i believe this jewish man is denying the bible codes because the old testement makes so many references towards Jesus being the son of god, and as everyone knows, Jews only believe Jesus was a prophet. Not saying its true, just a thought. If he accepted the bible codes, he would have to accept Jesus.
