Interesting that Fox is the main outlet (mis)reporting this story. It has nothing to do with the "endangered" species of woods, only to do with Gibson's doing business with the military coup that overthrew the Malagasy government in 2009.

An armed raid, which will result in the loss of American jobs is an outrage. This at best should have been a court case, not a raid. It's all based on murky foreign laws. This stinks of selective enforcement. The bigger this story gets, the better.

@RagingTic As more info comes out it appears that Gibson are in violation. They have unsealed the warrant and it appears that Gibson imported the wood as "veneer" which it is not.
