  • goin down to southpark gonna have myself a time

  • primus sucks!

  • @Mangoflippy god shall strike u with paids ... primus aids

  • @rulobo31 Haha a real primus fan would know that Primus sucks = Primus ROCKS!!!

  • @wicho661 actually Dubstep has it's roots in England 1998, but it barely hit mainstream until around 2002. Even then, it was still underground. Primus Purple Onion was released around 2002, but I really doubt that Les Claypool was listening to Dubstep at all. So when it comes down to it, Primus is just Kickass and no questions asked.

  • ...ample parking day or night, people spouting howdy neighbor...

  • Who's gonna do what Simon Says?

  • doctorbeepers ROCK ON! that is the South Park them!

  • DUBSTEP BEFORE THERE WAS DUBSTEP?

  • @wicho661 i'm pretty sure this is from the same time as dubstep.

  • @DaHuuuuuuudge sterrence

  • @seanismad100 red steckled elbermung. NO NO NO

  • @kowtpr187 the game.

  • @DaHuuuuuuudge no....this is not anything like dubstep...and I don't listen to gangsta rap.

  • @kowtpr187

Actually, it is like dubstep because Les Claypool is probably the one who inspired dubstep. And just because this isnt all fucked up with computers doesnt mean it can't be dubstep.

  • @jackapples3

Where the hell did you get that idea from? Dubstep originates in its most basic form from an amalgamation of Dub (which is effectively the remixing of reggae music) and Drum & Bass. Les had absolutely nothing to do with it and any influence he may have on the genre is minimal. Thank fuck for that, Dubstep is awful so I'm not sure I'd have been able to forgive him!

  • @jackapples3 you are a retard if you think that.

  • @jackapples3 Dude you're a retard!

  • @Fuzzyninja25

I like how you cant come up with a reason for that, I am entitled to my own opinion.

  • @jackapples3 Yes, yes it does... The only way to get the wobble sound is to fuck it up with computers. Otherwise it would take two people to do it live. Even then one of them would be fucking with effects left and right. I'm just willing to chock this up to the high amount of LSD you've taken while listening to this song though.

  • @wicho661 this isnt dupstep stupid is bass guitar and mexican instraments

  • Next time I'm horny, I'm gonna masturbate to this.

  • Primus played this in Ann Arbor last night. It was so sick. Twas a dream come true.

  • @Bobofjudia Ya they played this last night in Mesa, AZ in the first half of the show. So awesome! I got some video :)

  • @Tenucha You lucky person you. Be sure to upload it, I'd love to see it.

  • @gtammythmaster43 SAME AS BRO.

  • I'm a sucker for the whump-whump..... grawr. And the insanity of that sax. Oooh. >;P

  • @MrJeffyd963 XD

  • this song is like an orgasm with megan fox in both my ears

  • Claypool pulled out the Whamola and made like a monkey at All Good 2011. Because of this song I now understand the term "Face-Melter".

  • this is good for a south park instrumental

  • south park mixed it

  • Excellent ! :D

  • i sometimes listen to this while doing homework

  • @MrCRAZYzombie How´s the homework coming? :D

  • Sounds weird without the South Park banjo in it.

  • @StrongIntelligent 1) This version came first and was sampled into the southpark theme

    2) There is no banjo in that version...I have no idea where you got that idea

  • @CourtJackal001 There is, at the beginning. And of course I know this version came first.

  • wow i never realized that they just mixed another claypool song into the theme song for south park! :P i thought they altered it themselves

  • Les Claypool made the intro of South Park and Robot Chiken

  • @maxbindt did he really?

  • Comment removed

  • @zombiking97 yes he did

  • @maxbindt thats awesome lol

  • Get up and Jump by RHCP is a good follow

  • I like the live version when he tells mr green cowboy hat man to stay on that side of the stage and be amazing.

  • pretty sick - never heard this before.

  • i saw les perform this live. it was unreal. dopest show ever

  • I waited on this release for a few months.Got it back in 02.Saw Primus open for Rush in Columbia,S.C...March 5,1992.Seas of cheese tour. What an illustrious career.Saw theFancy band in Aheville in 07.What a difference!Very versatile man

  • Who's gunna do what Simon says?

  • @FiretrUCKme Yeah, you can download it at your local electronics store for about $10 to $20. Stop being a cheap fucker and support the musicians you like. You may not understand the concept of a job, but most people like to get paid for the work they do..

  • @FiretrUCKme from tevelision or thin air

  • lol. i feel robbed that ive only payed attention to primus music done by claypool :< this has a whole new feel compared to primus, imba

  • @richie1303

Claypool had a bunch of projects outside of Primus, some of which only released 1 album. Oysterhead, Les Claypool & The Holy Mackeral, Frog Brigade, Sausage, they were all awesome.

  • @MrStrangeSensation and btw have you by any chance seen the film electric apricot quest for festeroo? cos i would like to know if it is worth watching ^^

  • @richie1303

Sorry, haven't seen it. But I heard from a friend of mine that it was fucking awesome.

  • @richie1303 this is another band of claypool

  • south park

  • south park

  • @doctorbeepers no i think its the muppet show

  • @doctorbeepers Yes, South park, and the guy singing at the beginning is also Les Claypool, and the guy with the Banjo is supposed to be him. :L

  • the perfect song for a shroom trip!

  • This song is like crack. I'm addicted to it.

  • @brawler7755 ur addicted to crack?

  • @brawler7755 Alright, That wasn't even clever.

  • @brawler7755 are you saying your addicted to crack? shitty deal

  • @brawler7755 You're addicted to crack? That sucks man.

  • Best instrument ever.

  • @InvaderEmerald Matt agrees.

  • You know... the more I listen to this, it strikes me as a riff on Stevie Wonder's "Bird of Beauty." Rhythmically, its similar (way more uptempo, but I hear it in the opening drum riff), this song features cuica, as does the Stevie Wonder song, and Les even seems to be commenting on the "Simon says..." lyrics of that song... hmmmmm

  • Been looking for the studio version for ages!! Thanks so much :D

  • south park

  • yea..... it sampled this song about 4 years after it's release.

  • I couldn't imagine the price one would pay for the original monkey mask and whamola Les uses.

  • PRIMUS ROCKS AND SUCKS

  • your mother loves the whamola! primus sucks!

  • without distortion on the whamola it sounds terrible.

  • not as cool, for sure... but it sounds weird as hell without distortion, but not live... live it sounds like "clickity clak clakclick"

  • I love the whamola!
