i agree with everyone that says the music could've been better, and the sex scene with Daniel and Silk was ridiculous.... but I am a huge fan of it overall. Loved the philosophy of it all, it just about sovered everything. But yeah I wish some of the songs hadn't been on there and they had been replaced by some darker sounding music, for example the theme from Angela's Ashes. Just something that kept the pace up.

i saw the movie, i read the comic book, but there is one thing that ruined the movie. On the trailer they made it seem lyk it was gona be lyk sin city sort of. Lyk dark and also a sense of mystery and fear, but the music straight up ruined the tone of the movie i believe. I no they were trying to make it all 80s but still lyk in the trailer it was all dark music. Just wished they would have followed it

I think the movie came about as close to the novel as they could have come. The shit was supposed to be unfilmable after all, and there's definitely a lot in the novel that just can't be translated onto the screen. They did a damn good job of trying though.

Of course the book is better. They always are. Still a good movie though, I liked it.

The movie was incredible.

It's not without it's flaws(there's a few songs oddly placed IMO), and there's a few missed opportunities from Laurie in terms of dilaogue(the "threesome" scene comes to mind), but overall, it was awe inspiring and was worth the wait. A Masterpiece.
