  • yeaaaaa

  • Great clips here..Yes, it was sung by Kenny James for the episode "Home" because Johnny Mathis would not let Chris Carter use his vocals due to the subject matter of the episode..Having only seen the episode myself recently I can see why, it made me feel sick and freaked me out..I do not remember it the first time round as I was too young, but everytime the series is repeated in the UK "Home" is not shown..I believe it was banned from screening in US Syndication for a number of years.

  • Strange what watching a creepy show with an incongruous innocuous(Ya like that?) soundtrack can do to you. No longer can I listen to Paul Mauriat's "L'amour est bleu" without thinking of the Millennium episode where the villainess is holding those teenage boys captive.

  • Lovely video!

  • The episode was deper than what you saw, the Sherrif was Andy Taylor while his Deputy was named Barney as a homeage to the TV show about Mayberry.

The singer of that song was Kenny James immitating mathis, BUT....the song is from 1957 and it plays on radio which was a stolen car from a beak-down on the high way before the owner came back. The cadillac is a 1957 and spookey to play the 1957 song when the radio is on, Don Knotts was in a Movie as a Mr.Peacock . Homage to both TV/song

  • Love how you kept returning to the "post modern..." episode, then going back to other episodes. Very well done.

  • by the way whats the episode where they dance together (cute!!! :] )

  • @chipmunks700 post modern prometheus :)

  • @starsweet4 thanks XD

  • This songs always reminds me of the creepy episode with the inbred family :-(

  • love this song! Will always remind me of "Home" but still is great for Mulder and Scully :)

and "home" based on a true story?? Beyond creepy

    Nice Vid!

  • As a X-Phile I'd have to see this is actually a very beautifully put together video. Good selection of scenes for this.

  • Creepiest XF fanvid EVER.

  • The episode "Home" is based on a real life story...

  • 1:25 what episode is that scene from?

  • why is this song so loony ... its like some ufo will land outside my window and an alien will sway inside with the music. eeuwh !

  • I wish this beautiful song was never used on the x-files.

The episode with mama kept under the bed. Shudder!

    WORST MUSIC VIDEO EVER!!!!

  • @Perrygodmother I happen to feel that it was used very well in that episode. It almost seemed to create the mood.

  • I really can't listen to this song watching pretty shipper videos. I always have the impression that a Peacock brother will pop out of the screen. Hihihi

  • Where does everyone get the clip of Mulder twirling Scully at 2:53?? It's so cute.

  • It comes from the season five episode THE POST-MODERN PROMETHEUS. It's actually one of the best episodes that The X Files ever produced.

  • I've been a fan for 10 years. I know what episode it comes from but the clip of him twirling her isn't in the actual episode.I was wondering where people are finding it.

  • @spookygirl85 it's actually a deleted scene from the end of "post modern prometheus," they should have kept it but i guess it was too much? lol

  • holy fuck that was the creepiest x-files episode ever

  • From the best episode ever!

  • i love that song!!! its wonderful wonderful! it reminds me of home....a good episode!!!

  • nope. I still think of the episode Home...totally kills the song, can't think of anything else when listening to it xD

  • Christ Carter forever ruined this song for me. I can't listen to it without thinking about Mrs. Taylor cowering under the bed. Inhumane brutality, all to the tune of such a beautiful song. Total, absolute creeps!

  • I still get the creeps listening to that song because of "Home", that was really the most violent and creepy scene of all!!! I can't really enjoy watching shipper scenes with that song either... but the psychologist says: classical conditioning, watch this vid over and over and the bad feeling will go away... :)

  • You'll never change our opinion of this song :P

  • love the song choice!

  • a great show I miss and awesome song

  • type in this if you want to see the scene where the inbreds kill the cop and his wife its not as creepy as it was on tv but you'll get the idea

    /watch?v=U3Q9s2AkBS4&feature=related

  • Combining this song from "Home" with romantic Mulder-Scully-moments seems somehow pretty perverse to me ;-)

  • From all the X-Files episodes I thought Home was the most creepy.

  • What a wonderful imagination! The video is great and brought a big smile to my face. You combined two of my favorites! Johnny Mathis, with his silky smooth voice and Mulder and Scully caught in intimate moments...perfection.

  • Great episode and song. Great video nice job.

  • Excellent,Bravo.

  • haha Love it!!

  • This song will always be creepy to me ;) Thank you X-Files!

  • this song definitely still creeps me out. haha that inbred episodes was great though. such a great song to put in the background of those 3 guys murdering the cop and his wife. nice effect

  • who sings that song???

  • Johnny Mathis

  • merveilleux c'est toute a fait ca

  • awesome but I still cant hear it without seeing crazy inbreds!

  • That was so Sweet!!!

  • great vid. the song still creeps me out tho ;p
