And some people claims Jiujitsu is the most powerful martial art too, coz it locks or harm your joints and disabling u from counter attack, but it'll be suicide if u use jiujitsu to face 2 or more opponents, tats y, there is no best. peace

Because one thing for sure, Eventhough i agree that no martial art is the best but with the same amount of training and with the same physical abilities, I dont think a karate master can match a kungfu master.

Beside, boxing only have muscle.Kung fu has both:Inner and Outer power.And if you re asian, you can understand how powerful kungfu's inner power can be

If one becomes the toughest and strongest man in the world, he must gain the true respect by not abusing it to bully the weak . And that's something I think vry hard for the western people to understand....yeah I did practice kung fu, while my friends practiced TaeKwonDo, but I don't like my friend when he's using his force to show off, that's just bad.

@Yvesyew The reason why i know how destructive kungfu could be is because i practice it.i almost finish the Crane section.At that momen when i wrote my first comment,i was a bit crazy and excited so now i correct what i have said.True,no martial art is the best.But there is a reason for Asian's martial arts to be special:Asian is not as good as American or Europeans when it comes to body-built that is why we must have something special to back it up

@pgmountain2010 yes, I agreed that, actually I also think that the competition system/concept of asian martial art should "revovle". Like Kung Fu, the performing competition makes them forgot the practical meaning of martial art, people keep training for fancy moves, chasing after the high score. If they change it to fighting-based competition like Karate, then only people would go back to the true meaning of martial art. Have a Good day!

Whilst I think what he is doing is very good, and clearly he has a great mastery of the more 'extravagant' elements of Kung Fu, a lot of what was on display here was simply the 'flashy' elements, or more 'entertaining' elements of KF. I would like to have seen some more direct fighting moves & grapples/take-downs, and some of the less flashy albeit still 'real' elements on display.

Nonetheless he is clearly very good - kudos.

No he is isn't. Not by the standard set by his sifu. He is among half dozen students, shown in a programme about Wudang where the head Taoist preist regard him as someone who has potential.The progamme was made by National Geo Graphic called Jade dragon. He'll need another 30 years training before he can be ragarded as a master.

Yes,

I first saw the programme in you tube but it was in German with English subtitles. I then saw the programme again in Shenzehn China in Mandarin. He is a student belonging to one of three prominent Taoist schools in Wudang. He is quite young, like I said the master he learns under has around half dozen students consider to have potential. The Sifu can literally blast him across the room with one hand. (the students practice 6 hours everyday minimum).

This is just circus. I mean he is a good fighter, like a soldier or a boxer... not a real master. Believe me or not I saw in China one real masters. Local people told me he can burn you with his touch, can heal sick people, can make you collapse with one hand. But no camera allowed and it is rare to see him. He meditates most of the year. Probably he doesn't care what people think, like a real monk.

Some people can develop special habilities if they train to the extreme and meditate. I think it is all about breathing. If you are speaking Chinese, wushu means martial arts. However, wushu is known as the modern circus stuff to the westerners in today's modern world. Also, Kung Fu (or more correctly spelled Gong Fu) does not necessarily describe a martial art. Gong fu means effort through skill, great effort, or whatever.  Basket weaving can be gong fu.
