  • Nice commentary

  • Ha ha he should stick to tennis :) Great video as always :)

  • i was wondering about the reult after seeing them play,or i should say the positions played, thanks for showing and for next time boris, develope.

  • :-)

  • What is the point of going over this game with a chess engine LOL

  • @ani19bd I used an engine, to explore 1 or 2 continuations, and provide objective, numerical evaluations. I also wasn't familiar with the gambit Nigel used. We don't often see GM v. Celeb games, so hoped it would be something different and interesting, etc.

  • How often do you upload bro, I'm look for a good chess channel I can watch everyday.

  • @GamingDSi The target is 2-3 a week, sometimes it's more / less. Sub to be notified each time a video is uploaded.

  • @GamingDSi I have uploaded 261 videos in about 4 months (if you take out the breaks!)

  • Smash by Nigel. Nice one !!

  • @Neueregel ... Game, Set and Match!

  • @chesscreator Yes, actually, the whole match just in 10 minutes. No games and sets needed. King's Gambit is easy to crush if the opponent blunders and doesn't attack properly

  • @Neueregel Oh, so that's the reason they didn't play King's Gambit. ;-)

  • @GroberPope Actually, what I meant was that it resembled an inversed King's gambit because Nigel pushed his 'f' file pawn quite early.

  • @Neueregel Then, you must also have meant: "it's easy to crush your opponent by playing King's Gambit" - not: "King's Gambit is easy to crush" ... (but I'm no native speaker ;-)

  • @GroberPope I am also not a native speaker but I get ya. Well both are true. King's Gambit creates lots of imbalances and if white does not equalize that f4 gambitted pawn or force a quick attack, then it's most probable to be crushed in the endgame.

  • painful viewing

  • @AlanWattParrot Yes, this Chess encounter was 6-0 6-0 6-0 in Tennis term - a 'triple doughnut'

  • @chesscreator lol .. yeah poor BB, i think any random bod from that crowd wd've creamed him to be perfectly honest .. when he was presented as a chess enthusiast it's likely he's just an occasional player but fair play to him - the English have a fondness for Boris

  • Very entertaining and very useful! Thanks! :)

  • @barsorrro thanks for the +ve feedback!
