  • risk of hand slipping down the blade. They are sharp as crap.

  • for my hammock, I always chose trees about 11 to 12 feet apart. My tarp is 10 x 8. I hang the hammock from trees that wont give when I lay in it, and put the ridge line from tree to tree. Hanging the hammock fairly taught. (level) I can use it to sleep in or to sit in. The pack saw... I have the same one made by gerber (parent company fiskers). The blade is kinda flimsy but I love it. Use it with cutting pressure on the back stroke to avoid bending or breaking the blade. this lessens the risk
