This video should be entitled "Incredible Bass Player"....not keyboardist . This is a video of a musician who uses bongo playing techniques on a keyboard . It's a nice effect , but doesn't make for an incredible keyboardist. Don't get me wrong....there is some talent in that , but let's her something other than piano/bongo rudiments . Only then can you give this video such a title .
Yeah.. most people cannot appreciate how awesome this is.. It's really good. I'm gonna get as good as this guy some day! By the way, comment on my piano improv vid! I need feedback! Thanks again! :)
@redchopin ......Sorry....this is not awesome . It's his thing (which is fine) , but he needs to learn melodic technique and structure....then maybe impliment his thing with that (on occasion only) as it get's quite tiresome . But seriously...I'm a keyboardist , and what this guy is doing here is not difficult . To be fair....I haven't heard anything else from him....so maybe he is really good outside of this . Just trying to be fair :) Bass player ? Fantastic !
i agree . no melody just sporadic stabs... and yes , bass player awesome. did well to keep a groove going with justin timberlakes keyboard tourrettes!!!!!
Don't see a whole lot of direction or melody in this. I respect the skills, but music needs to pleasure the ears, otherwise it's just noise. Bassist is nasty though.
yes the keyboard player is amazingly fast... but this is all just blues scale which became boring for my ears ...

he's awesome and can play fast..but i dont sense any soul or playing something from within in the video though..
it just seems like he's playing notes as fast as he can to be impressive...and by god is he impressive...good job though regardless.

These guys are amazing, and play every night except Mondays at Soho upstairs. Worth going to hear. They will only be in Kunming until December.
