  • I am not against adoption but in the way this is done is not right, you don't even know if the baby is stolen, sometimes the babies are stolen even when they are still in the mother's tummy. Think about it first and check for real where this babies come from, some are extremely young and some adults think the baby is not aware of what is going on, of course they do. Of course I understand all cases are different so If this is not your case, respectfully chill out. Just my opinion NOT attacking.

  • I really enjoyed seeing your video and reminds me so much of what I felt and experienced when we met our child for the first time at 4 months. Our children are definitely a blessing.

  • I wonder if this is right buying a baby as buying a doggy? Mmmm... Very interesting. Why do you need to adop another baby? and been taken away from the mom that young, I bet still needs the mothers milk. I guess money buys anything.

  • @Msbumbles04 Gotta love these Moronic posts !!!

    That's why I don't delete them...

  • @Msbumbles04

That´s something that only someone can say, who never really concerned with adoption/ international adoption. We are just in process to adopt from czech republic and trust me, we DO NOT buy a child!

  • My hubby is from Guatemala and I love that the lady speaking in Spanish in the video, i guess from the adoption agency, is like "tell them no to uncover her and make sure that she has her bottle every two hours." In Guatemala they are obsessed with keeping their babies warm. It will be 90 degrees out and they still have a blanket wrapped around their babies. The culture is soooo different.

  • Love your precious video! God bless you and your precious family! =-)

  • The female buyer didn't really seem as thrilled with the baby girl she purchased. Giving birth and being able to parent one's own child is nothing like shopping/adopting/buying a baby. Adopters/buyers always brag that they chose their baby like they just went shopping for drapes or something. Real parents accept the baby they gave birth to no matter what. Do these people realize or even care if they bought a stolen baby. Probably not. They think they're better than everyone else.

  • @eyeswideopen1993 Anyone who takes the time to watch a stranger's 10min adoption video and is that negative about it has serious issues. Here's some advise: just try and adopt a baby anywhere in this world. First, you must qualify. Second, you need to bring your checkbook. Good luck.

May God bring you peace and happiness in your life. You need it.

  • Hello ! I'm french but also adopted from guatemala. Since 1981.

This video is beautiful but..... I don't understand why in 2004 in USA you have th right to adopted 1 baby of 1 week in guatemala. it's to young . how can be sure that the mother can't take care of the baby ? please someone can respond me ? because I surprised. Thank you

  • I can't believe how some people can be so rude and negative. It's a blessing to be able to adopt children doesn't matter if they come from another country or if they are adopted from right here in the U.S.

  • @roachcasid A blessing? What do you even know about adoption? It's child theft in most cases. What's blessed about that? You need to educate yourself.

  • @ Iglov: they do blood tests to see whether or not the birth mother is legit.

I suggest before you speak that you do proper research.

  • Unicef has reported that 2/3 of the babies sold to US citizens were kidnapped.

How are you going to tell the baby that there is a high possibility they were kidnapped and sold to you. Don't even bother saying they you didn't know or you met the child's real mother.

Thank Jesus that Unicef forced that baby selling racket to close the doors on the multibillion dollar business of international child trafficking (adoption).

Pray that the childs mother wasn't a teen that was forced to breed 4 U!

  • @lglov Hope you enjoyed the video :)

  • @lglov you are poorly misinformed.

  • Cute video. That baby is lucky. But I was nervous when I saw her laying near the end of the bed propped up on a pillow. Or any stuffed toys in a crib with the baby. That is so dangerous. She could roll or fall off if you move. Also you should never use a pillow with a child under a year old. It can cause her to role her face into it and stop breathing. Good luck!

  • whats a cwib?

  • yay! other guatemalan people ^.^ I was adopted as well. in '95.

  • @savagegirl03 '91 here :)

  • The adopted mother doesnt seem very excited ??

  • One of the best adoption videos I've seen on You Tube.

  • her cwib?

  • She's so cute i'm from guatemala to i could see you where excited

  • My sister and her husband just brought home baby boy number TWO from Guatemala three days ago! Congratulations. You have a beautiful baby girl, and you are blessed to have one another. God Bless You!!!

  • We adopted our son from Guatemala about 7 years ago. He's the greatest kid you could ever imagine. He's funny, smart, a great athlete, and probably about the most popular kid in his class. We'll always do the best we can for him, and make sure he gets the best education a person can get in the USA. That was a promise we made to his birth mother, and a promise we will keep. He will always be a Guatemalian and an American, and will never forget his people.

  • We have a adopted a little boy from Guatemala. And it is so nice to see that alot fo people save Guatemalan childen lives by adopting them

  • Your intentions are excellent, but you are all robbing Guatemala of its future. Children are the future of every nation.

  • "Children are the future of every nation" but you left out a few important points. International adoption provides a life of opportunity for those unwanted children in poor nations who can't afford to adopt their own. Comprende?

  • I just have to ask have you ever been to Guatemala?? How much do you know about adoptions from Guatemala? I'm just interested to now.

  • @tracyannthomson

Went there 5 times to be exact. Kira was 1 week old then every 6-7 weeks till we brought her home. This video was filmed in Guatemala...

  • thank you! i'm glad someone else out there understands that the future and integrity of hispanic culture is more important than the selfish altruism of liberal whites

  • I don't believe orphan girls in the third world have much of a future nor provide a future for the country. They often end up as sex workers. If you want to help, instead of posting rude messages. Support a family so they do not have to give the baby up.

  • the original hispanics are white. That baby looks full blooded Native.

  • @MariannaZF you know, you really are stupid!! I was adopted from Guatemala from the best parents in the world! Im now 19, am a student at the University of Michigan and have a great life! If it wasn't for my parents i wouldn't be living such a great life or been given all these opportunities that i have now!! They aren't robbing Guatemala of it's future. They're giving babies like I was, a chance for a better future!!

  • very heart warming

  • We just got back from our first visit trip yesterday! We enjoyed our daughters first Christmas with her. What a beautiful country and beautiful babies! Hope you have brought her home by now :)

  • beutifull family god bless you for give so much love.

  • God bless your family always, I hope the gotcha day comes soon so little Kira can finally come home. Many many blessings, you have a beautiful family. Dios les bendiga siempre
